The boards have been a little on the quiet side today, most likely because some of our more prolific posters are demos and just left on the incentive cruise!

The timestamp on your first post shows it was only made an hour or so ago, which really isn't enough time to gauge whether your thread will get responses, even when the boards are busier. Just be more patient, and answers will come! ;)

It's awsome-and it's a great value. I can't live without mine-and even though I refused to use it for the first couple of months, I've broken out of my shell and started putting it on a lot of things-especially scrapbook pages. I'm not sure how I lived without it before...

I just got the pewter set and was blown away by how much stuff is in it. It really is a great value I plan to get the other 2 eventually as well!

Absolutely, order it. It really adds a nice touch to cards and scrapbook pages. Definitely worth the money.

I love it, but struggle with wanting to hoard. (Like I can't buy more, I am such a ding dong). Get it! BTW my favorite is the pewter.

I just got pewter and after petting the box, I broke into it. I have only used it on scrapbooking pages so far. I love the little buckle to put ribbon through. Hopefully this weekend I'll use some of the other pieces. I have been saving for some time to order it and I'm really happy. Not to stop hoarding them and attach them to a card. Of course only to those that will appreciate it.

You can always do a search in the gallery and see how others use it. I love the cards with the little swirly thing and little pieces of ribbon tied on. Not sure how they go through the mail though.

Love mine - I have the antique brass, but want the other two as well. I use some of the pieces on tags in my name frames.

I love it! Like some said above, I had it awhile before I finally broke down and decided to share.. ha. I have looked at mikes and joanns for stuff but it is 8 to 10 for 2 or 3 buckles.. we have a really good deal here and i'm getting my next one in the pewter.. i have antique brass now. I sure hope they come out with refills for the buckles etc this summer!

REFILLS?????????????? What a great idea. I'm SO HOPING they do THAT!!!! I have antique brass as well. I love metal on my cards and scrapbook pages. If I were to buy it in the stores it would be about 2-3 dollars for the larger pieces each. Someone in our stamping group worked the price out to 10-30 cents a peice (This is Canadian money I'm taking about so even less US). I love mine and still struggle with hording because it looks more expensive than it really is.

I just got my first one. I bought the antique brass. BEAUTIFUL. So much that my hoarding gene is kicking in and I don't want to use it on cards. Mostly because I usually make a dozen cards and then--will they be all gone???? Hahha.. I think I will try them first on some scrapbook pages. Then maybe some cards later when I have learned to relax. Not being a consultant, I can't just order some late night when I run out. <----feeds my hoarding gene>.

THEY ARE SO PRETTY--AND SO MUCH CAME IN THAT LITTLE TIN. I was impressed!

I LOVE the HPH sets - and they are such a great value! I've got about 10 pieces of my Antique Brass left and I've just opened my new Pewter set. I didn't want to use them at first but I finally reminded myself I can order more and so I dug it. LOVE the idea of refills.... SU, are you listening?????;)

i've been hesitant to order b/c replacements aren't offered for my favorite 2 or 3 pieces. a few of them i wouldn't know what to do with, but i suppose that we could organize some kind of trading program...for those of us that use all the buckles but don't use the clipie things...just an idea.

I don't have ANY of the sets but may use some of my birthday money to get a set. I'm afraid I'l be a hoarder though :>)

BUT has anyone thought about trading pieces you don't use to someone for pieces they don't use but you do? Kinda like trading stamp sets only on a smaller scale?

Just my .02 worth.

I like this idea! I haven't bought the set yet but am SOOO close! Should we talk trading? What would people use, and what would people want to trade?

Also if you want to try the different colors you can swap with 2 others for them. I did this with 2 other demos - 1 of the other gals organized it. We each kept half of the color we ordered and split up the remaining half between the 2 other swappers. The organizer made a specific list of pieces for us. We each mailed to each person (not worth mailing to the hostess for just 3 people). It worked out great and I have really enjoyed having all 3 colors!

Default my 2 cents

I have not ordered them yet, but I do a lot of trading! I will say without counting the Brads or the tin itself the pieces are like 20 cents each! which is 5 for a buck, I think that is a good deal.

NOW.... for all you ladies who love the swirl and circle clips etc. if you have the dept. store TARGET near you...they sell them in their office dept CHEAP!!

I have some of the SU HPH in pewter and copper and I love them both, now I am begging for a few pieces of the brass...then I will order whichever I like best!

Haven't ordered it yet because of not being able to get refills and don't want to get addicted to them. Hope the new catty will have refills.

another demo told me that she heard from someone that was talking to some people at one of the events that possibly they were considering selling teh HP sep in the next catty - now thats just a heard from so I dont know if its true.

I only seem to use the one piece that you put the brad thru and tie ribbon too, the brads and sometimes the buckles, some of those other pieces I dont seem to use so if one of you uses those other pieces and not the pieces I seem to use pm if you wanna trade some.. I have two sets so I have two different colors.

I think the hodgepodge kit is wonderful but I won't buy it and this is going to sound silly because I will only hoard it and not use it becase I like it too much

I think it's a great value, too. I got the antique brass when it first came out and I just received the pewter. I love them both. So far, I have used them mostly for scrapbooking.

I too just sat and looked at mine for awhile, but broke down for a swap and started playing with them and haven't been able to stop since!

It is a great value if you like (and will use, not just pet and admire) at least 3 of the different kit components. If you only like one of two things, it might be cheaper to go purchase them individually, even though they tend to cost more that way.

They are such an easy way to add that extra touch to your project!
