Just curious about something ... if you have both a gallery here on SCS as well as a blog, do you post everything you create in both places? Or, do you have some on your blog that you do not upload to SCS?
Part of me think I should upload in both places (time isn't an issue for me). I know that there are those out there who do not check out blogs and so, they may miss out on some fabulous creations (I'm not trying to be narcissistic ).
The other thing, is that I've seen some fabulous artists go totally blog and very few if any uploads to SCS are seen from them. Not the end of the world for me, because I will check out their blogs, but for others? I know it's not my problem, because I'd probably never do that, I don't have that kind of following (nor am I asking for it!).
Anyways, so post in both places all the time or not?
I always post to both, because, let's face it ladies...not everyone blurfs (blog surfs), and I also like having my things here for a really quick reference to what I've done. Shoot, I can barely remember what I did yesterday, let along 6 months ago...lol
That's really too bad! It's rare for me to look in OUR gallery! I hardly ever make it out to look at blogs. You all have some nice work, and a lot of us are missing it!
I try to upload to both, but sometimes I do blog challenges, or challenges from other sites, that I just upload to my blog. And sometimes I do the challenges here, but they don't make it to my blog.
everything goes on my blog first ... normally with a lot more detail/chatter whatever the case maybe .... many things get copied and pasted over to my gallery here but not everthing .... I like to keep a few things just for my blog seeing people take the trouble to subscribe to it in various ways
I post for both.. mainly because I don't make very many... so that way SCS people can see my work, but also family can see it on the blog (it's more of a personal blog then a crafting blog... but I post my creations on there). My gallery is still quite small though. I often just get cards made right before I mail them.... so DH doesn't get to photograph them for me.
Well, I can't seem to do it all, either I blog or stamp, so my creations usually get to SCS and then I blog family details. I dream about layouts and cards constantly... but since my blog is new, I am having too much fun playing with it.

I agree with Betsy! I find myself looking at blogs less and less -- takes more time than coming here. And all of y'all do beautiful work . . . I know I'm missing a bunch by not surfing much anymore, but I had to make a choice time-wise, and SCS wins.
I use to upload here more here (when I was a SU! demo). But when I started blogging I have found that I upload to it more often. Let's face it SCS has grown so much over the years that so much talent is hidden within the pages. It's overwhelming. Since most of the things I would upload here would go under Member Gallery it gets lost. The thumbnails are tiny. When I post a design on my blog I can personalize it and also include close ups. So I tend to upload to my blog more often.

Ditto to Asela.
However, I will upload SU sets.

Thanks so much, all of you, for taking the time to answer this! It sure seems like there are so many different opinions ... I should have expected that!
I just wasn't sure what I wanted to do. Part of me thought that people may think it'd be redundant to see the same things on my blog as they would see here on SCS, but different people may visit either, so it wouldn't really matter, right?
