Default Secretaries Day need ideas.

Hi Ladies.

I need to make up three gifts for my Hubby's ladies that work very hard at his office. I have given gift cards, flowers, candles and chocolates in the past. I have also made up sets of blank cards for them and he thinks I should do that again. None of them are crafty so I guess they do appreciate the cards to use. I made a magic box at Christmas and hubby thinks I should make some of these for them but I am wondering really what do they do with it afterwards. LOL I know we are supposed to keep everything handmade but really do you want this sitting out all the time gathering dust?

I would appreciate any help with this and I have printed off some fabulous cards in the last day to CASE for them as well.

How about the little totes that are so cute with like 6 cards and envelopes for different occasions for them? I sell these like crazy...Just a thought.

As an administrative assistant myself, although I am crafty, I know I would appreciate hand sanitizer or lotion, both of which I keep on my desk at all time, maybe a gift card to a nearby restaurant or fast food place for lunch or a coffee shop for a quick breakfast or coffee.

For something crafty, maybe decorated picture frame for them to fill with a loved one to display on their desk? You could also do a decorated planner or journal with matching pen?

My new favorite gift is a Rolodex. SU has a die and then you make it yourself. You can buy the actual Rolodex at Staples or any of the big stores. They are so cute. Michelle Zindorf did one and that's where I got my idea from. You can buy the small cans of pringles and cover the empty can and decorate it for a pencil/pen holder. Good luck I am sure they will like anything you make.

What about those blank notecubes that you stamp on the sides? Like this one by Julia S:Poppy Note Cube TLC115 by Julia S at Splitcoaststampers

What about a cute little post-it note holder? I made this one with coasters...and the notepad can always be replaced once it is gone.

Those are both great ideas for the note pad and stickie notes. I might have to do those. I just talked with a friend and she said go for the couple of blank cards to use and gift cards, everyone loves free coffee. LOL. I may not be original but I do appreciate those ladies and what they do my hubby.
