Default Recycling printer cartridges for store credit?

There was a thread here awhile back (which I can't find now) on an office supply store that recycles printer cartridges for store credit or cash. Does anyone remember the name of this store and the details?

TIA

Office Max does. I think it is like $3 credit for each cartridge.

Pretty good deal!

I just go to Cartridge World and they refill mine at a discount.

Staples offers $3/cartridge also but you can only bring in three per visit.

Staples also has to send you the coupon in the mail now, which takes WEEKS. They used to issue your coupons right then and there. Now they made me fill out a membership for one of their store cards and they mailed me the coupon.

Office Depot used to issue $3 immediate store credit or give you a ream of copy paper for each cartridge, allowing you to redeem up to 3 per visit. According to the clerk where I shop, they no longer do that (since about a week ago, he said). They will take the cartridges and issue a $3 credit per cartridge on your worklife rewards card quarterly.

I work for Staples Corp Office and we give give you $3 back per cartridge when you use your Staples Rewards card and you get in back in a Rewards check the next month. Giving out the coupons in store became to much of a fraud risk on an already expensive program.

Yep, that's how I do it. I wind up getting between $6 and $8 each month, and I redeem the Rewards Credit on new cartridges.
