Clean and Simple (CAS) Favorites for the Week Ending July 31, 2011
I'm so happy to be back this week to start this thread. The CAS favorites thread is our place to celebrate the Clean-and-Simple Style each and every week. The Gallery here at SCS is amazing, with so many cards and projects posted every day, and it's easy for beautiful work to get over-looked. We can catch at least some of those works of art on this thread!
If you're new, please just jump right in. Post links to your favorites, and leave comments on those favorited by others. It's fun, it's easy, and it will brighten someone's day!
Many, many thanks to Marie (momof5sons) for starting this thread last week when I could not. And thanks also to Karen (k dunbrook) for taking the time to notify everyone who gets acknowledged on this thread each week.
Now here are my favorites to get us started.
biggan used encaustic to make her beautiful sunset
k dunbrook used white space. texture, and a sweet felt flower to perfection
diamondangelfish made a totally adorable dog-themed set, complete with collars
cook22 used self-adhesive felt trim and a gorgeously colored butterfly on her Summer Fuzzies card
stampingout shared a soothing and peaceful silhouette scene of a weeping willow and Adirondack chair that makes me want to go on vacation
mom2n2 gave two adorable love birds a fantastic perch on her mocjen-inspired card
hollerinastamps wielded a sponge over some clear embossing to create a perfect border for her Morning Mercies card
2ndhandstamps posted a G2G rainbow card that is bright, cheerful, and sends a fab message!
MrsOke colored and cut her flower border on her Merci card so perfectly...love those colors!
Vera's 50th wedding anniversary card for her parents is CAS, cute, and pretty all rolled into one super card
cmcmathey let happy colors and white space balance perfectly on LIM and FS her challenge card
mamamostamps showed that you can use adorable tiny stamps on a one-layer card when you balance white space and color and add a little something extra (like baker's twine and a tiny tag!)
stamperjen0 layered up some colored and textured elements but kept her fab color challenge card CAS
fionna51 used perfect placement on her lovely-mocjen inspired card
limedoodle used a little splash of orange to take her note card from pretty to awesome
sblondin's wedded bliss card sparkles and flutters with elegance
LeAnne Pugliese's blue sunshine card totally grabbed my attention with its fab masking and tonal blues
Oddesigns used dots and pink to make a fun and festive birthday card
lisa lara made a cute jeans pocket card with a daisy that completely took me back to the '70s and my fave embroidered bell-bottom jeans!
WOW what a list!!!! Many thanks to all the stampers who take the time to share their work, whatever the style! It's all that sharing that makes SCS's gallery the amazing place it is.
I know there's plenty that I missed in the gallery this past week. So please jump right in and share!
So glad that you are back this week, Susan...you were missed. I was off of the grid for the week and didn't have much gazing time. I'll be back after church with some gold that I found.

I don't have time right now to check out the favorites that have been listed, but here are mine. I hope to check back later in the week to see what I missed...
OMG..what a fabulous list.....again :-) I am thrilled Susan that you added me to your list (twice)..It made my morning :-) I will be posting my list a little later. Time to walk with my DH on this gorgeous morning.
Got back from a tough morning of bicycle racing to see that my pink birthday card was chosen. Thanks, Susan, for making my day, and thanks, Karen, for notifying me.

Thank-you so much Susan for mentioning my dog collar cards!!! It was a labour of love to create these for my sister's bussiness. It adds to the joy when fellow crafters appreciate the effort that was put into these.
A big thank-you to Karen for letting me know, otherwise I may have been clueless!
All my fav's have already been mentioned except for this one
Thanks SO very much to Susan, Trish, Susan, and Marie for pointing out five of my cards this week. Five(!) I couldn't believe it...and you all gave me a wonderful afternoon after a difficult weekend!

Thank you, Holly, for mentioning my Tag Line Hello. CAS is NOT my strongest suit, so it is a thrill when one of mine is considered a "favorite" by someone! : ) I truly appreciate it. Hugs, Sallie

Thanks to Dianne for the shout out and to Karen for letting me know! I'm crazy busy right now so don't have time to peruse the gallery to put my 5 cents in. Happy crafting everyone.
