That's not right for SU to burst our bubbles. :( :(
Hey, many of us demos are bummed as well, because we were supposed to get an early look this year. SU! was going to release it on the customer side as well in order to ease the strain on the password-restricted parts of the site from all the traffic. Many demos contacted them about the ugliness that surrounded the early leaking here on SCS of the link to a mini catalog that was only posted on the demo site, and I suspect that figured into the decision. I hate when we lose one of our special demo perks because a few folks couldn't play nice. :(

It wasn't because a few folks couldn't play nice. Didn't you read anything why demos were concerned? Nice judgement there.
My demo is having us over in the AM, for a techniques class and to look at the list of retiring accessories together! I think that is a neat way to do it, and we are all excited...
So if just the demos are able to see the retiring list, I'm assuming that at least one of you guys will be nice enough to share with the rest of us right?!
I don't know if it will be on the customer side, but I'm sure your demo would be more than happy to help you with it if it's not. Funny, I don't think that is a question that has come up!
If you are thinking about a certain project, say for late summer, fall, and even the holidays, and you find out that wheel or a certain embellishment is going away, it will be great to know and get them...
Also, I really have a feeling paper prices are going to go up. And, anything metal. Metal prices are soaring.
As a demo I can tell you the list of ret. accessories is the only thing being released tomorrow. Not the catalog, at one time it was but not no more. I dont think the retired list is a "secret" though as I am sure there are benefits to you knowing as well cause you may be "intrested" in buying some NOW.
Wouldn't make any sense not to post for customers. Aren't we the ones we want to sell to and there are only a few days left? Keeping it a secret from us would make no sense whatsoever!

from what I understand it isn't a secret at all. The only info that demos will have that customers won't is daily stock totals... at least that was my understanding of the announcement. The demo side will be getting frequent updates as to stock levels to ensure that we know up to the minute if something is still available.
ETA: I just checked the website, and it will only be posted on the demonstrator side BUT SU has instructed us to give the list to our customers. I'm sure it will be shared here and elsewhere since it is time sensitive material and not a "sneak peek" issue.

I'm anxious to see about the wheels that are retiring! Will they be listed too? I will have to get the 'chocolate chips' wheel if it goes. Any other guesses?

It's not definite by any means, but I would almost gaurantee that since these have matching sets that are retiring, these will be leaving too:
splat
crayon abc
all around hearts
heart angels
funky firs
candy cane craze
swirl fun
lovely ladybugs
polka dot blocks (?)
party fun
party
whimsical blossoms
swirl style chocolate chips
jazz
springtime
making tracks
carnival fun
sports fans (?)
bold blooms
whirly twirly
swirling leaves
size it up (?)
square pegs
Keep in mind this is ONLY a guess, and many of these could very well be spared the axe if something new happens to match it.
Not to worry ... it will be shared with customers - it's supposed to be. There is never any intention to keep anything "secret". It should be available sometime tomorrow - I'm sure there will be a PDF that can be posted here.
ETA: See!!!!??? Told ya! Enjoy- and get those orders ready - I'm REALLY surprised at a lot of stuff here ... WWC, Envies??? Wow!

I wonder if the WW Crayons were just too expensive. I have a knock off set and nothing is as great as a water color crayon- maybe not enough people were buying.
WHY are they getting rid of all the envelopes? It's not like you can exactly redesign that and release a new envelope.
