I got metal tags as part of my great rewards package. Any Ideas on how to use them. They are solid, not the kind with paper or vellum in the middle. I only saw one in the gallery, which was triple embossed and an image imprinted. Love to get your input. Thanks
Here are some ideas for you. (Did a search for 'metal magic tag') Although a few are the traditional paper/metal tags, there are lots of cards that use the solid metal tags. HTH
Good question.
I am supposed to be getting that package from Great Rewards too. But I have not seen too much done with those all metal tags.
I am going to try the search.
How long does it take to get those Great Rewards sent to you anyway? It seems like I have been waiting for awhile now.
I'm certainly not as experienced as you all are ... but my demo made a wonderful graduation card usng the metal tags. She embossed a football on the the tag with clear embossing powder (you, of course, could use any image you want) and it kinda gave it the look of engraving. It looks awesome!
I took all the advice I could find on metal magic tags and my first try is in my gallery. I haven't figured out how to add a link yet so if you would be so kind it is in my gallery (I only have two). Let me know what you think.
You can also us the metal stamps on them. I bought two sizes at Habor Freight (1/8 and 1/4 inch) for under $15.
After you deboss the letters you can paint over the tag, wipe off the excess leaving the paint in the letters. It looks pretty cool.
