Marco's Paper has 100# Cougar in larger sizes (including 8.5 x 14 aka legal size). If you go to the link, you can select the size (maybe multiple sizes ... I didn't try) and then select weight, color and package size from the drop down menus. They are a great company to deal with!
Wow, they also have accordian cardstock, extra long, though in 65#. 5.5/6.25/7.0 by 25/26/34" long. (Don't quote me; I may be disremembering a number here or there.)
Is this for a lot of cards when you would need to buy in bulk, or just the occasional one? I know in my local art shop, I can buy single sheets of card that are 16" x12, and a nice weight for bases. Also manageable for trimming to the required size, unlike the even larger sheets ;-).Of the top of my head, I think it's Clairefontaine but I've seen other ranges in different shops.
I sont know what to do in terms of qty yet. I would probaly start small to play with it and then commit to bulk if I like it. My usual MO.
I have a Blick store near me but they dont sell CS by the sheet. In fact, oddly-they dont even have reams of Neenah ir anything. They carry American Crafts in packs. Which is pretty layer paper but I dont see using markers on it or for base weight. It's odd to me since they carry Copics and Tombows. They might have it online though.
But this is where I get into total confusion...Marco's seems to be cover stock and I never remember what that means. Was it something about being coated? I have detailed discussion of paper types and weights in my bookmarks somewhere-I have to go dig it out from 200 of them. I am going to print it out to have at hand.
I met the Marco's people at a stamp show. It was strange. They didnt know themselves what weight a bunch of the paper in packs was. But they were really really nice people and were really trying to help me.

Bazzill has some cardstock in 12x12 and you can get packs via Amazon (for example: https://www.amazon.com/Bazzill-Shopp...dp/B00CH9KFRK/). Their Card Shoppe line is very heavy-weight and great for bases. I know they at the very least had red (peppermint) and green (gumdrop) when I last checked, so it's at least an option for Christmas cards.
