I'm looking for an easy treat to give to my daughter's classmates for Christmas. My daughter is in the first grade and has previous enjoyed assisting me in making the sour cream pouches, slider card w/treats in them, bag toppers and the Nuggets holder. I was hoping to get a new, creative and easy way to give away treats. Any ideas? Thanks.

Me too....
My son is in the first grade as well and I love doing something for his class. This year I've been in so many stocking stuffer swaps I've gotten so many cute ideas. I think I'm going to either do a hot coccoa sleeve or a pencil holder(with Christmas pencils inside). I'd love to hear more ideas too;)
I have sent juice boxes covered in decorated cardstock. The kids loved them. Have also done a few different kinds of bagalopes with pretzels or some other small snack inside.
How about little friendship books, depending on the size of her class! You could get the little 3x3 mini scrap kits at Wal-Mart and let your DD help decorate and stamp the fronts for everyone. I don't know how much these usually cost, I have gotten them for .50 before, so like I said, it really depends on the size of her class!
What me and DD made one year for her class were wreath bell ordiments. We got those packages of small bells in the fun colors and just put them on wire. This was great because she was able to help me make them and it was something I knew wouldn't end up in the trash once it got home.
The candy holders made out of the door hangers & cello bags are cute. I like the lollipop idea. Maybe you could make the holes bigger & add candy canes. Bottle cap, paper or foam pins could be cute too.
Check out my "Gift" Album in my Yahoo Gallery or check my SCS gallery for more ideas. I've made cocoa sleeves, dragon tear marble magnets, pencil tags, BB game, etc.
I also have gift items in the Yahoo Gallery from my other stamping friends. For example: a calendar made to fit in a CD sleeve, a Christmas ornament, tea bag sleeve cards, etc.
Becky B has some cute notebook and pencil ideas in her SCS gallery. She also has made a picture for my hubbin's birthday of a ship with a saying on it. You could stamp something cool like the kids would like -- some cartoon character with a cute saying to put into frames you get from the Dollar Store.
By the way, I saw those mini-scrapbooks at Walmart here on an end-cap and they were selling for 99 cents here!

The links in my signature work now. Click on the "SCS Gallery" or the "Yahoo Gallery". All the albums in the Yahoo Gallery are in alphabetical order and the "Gift" one is about half way down the page. Click on the thumbnail and it should open for you. Hope that helps! Let me know if you need anymore info.
Have you seen where you stamp with the tiny seasonal stamps (SU! Merry Mini's) on a label sheet. Then you wrap one sticker around a candy treasure box - Hershey's I think - Four of them fit perfect into a small clear celo bag (SU!) and then colored cardstock rectangle on the top for a "tag" - - brads or eyelets close it beautifully - - They are super cute and really fast - my 3 year old makes them for her daycare - they are that easy. :-)
this sounds cute. Do you have a picture? I am a visual person and need to see it to understand the concept.
tia!

Help! I'm a newbie and need help with Christmas ideas too! Are there any templates/directions quick ideas for treats for kids? e.g., sour cream holders, bagalopes, etc?
Not sure if it was mentioned but another cute one is the hershey kiss triangle boxes that hold 5 kisses. Those look really cute when done and they're pretty easy to do.
I got a swap that was a strip of cs folded to look like a flower pot there was a brad on each edge, with an upside down tootsie pop in it. The stick had a flower taped to it. I was thinking that you could make a "chimmney" out of CS and tape Santa to the stick of the lollipop. If you need a visual on this, I will try to post when I get home from visiting my dad later.
All my stampin' buddies have decided to have a shoebox party before Christmas and I've got to come up with something to put in the shoebox that's quick to stamp and Christmas related. All my buddies have seen or done what's in my "Gift" album in the Yahoo Gallery, so I was wondering if you all have visual links to those other things you have mentioned like the "sour cream pouches, slider card w/ treats, Nuggets holder, etc." I'd be so appreciative. Thanks!
