-you look forward to football season and all the hours DH puts in for coaching, just for some free time to stamp without guilt until midnight
-you have 4+ windows open in Explorer, so you can read posts while searching the gallery and while uploading pictures and while checking your gallery to see if you get any new compliments!
-you make a pact with the kids at bedtime "Ok, tomorrow you guys are not watching so much TV" and their response it "and you are leaving the computer off!"
...you walk into your hotel and can't help but notice the wallpaper - it's wide stripes made by alternating "canvas background" and mulberry paper. Can't wait to get home so I can try that combo myself!!
My husband was cooking dinner the other night and wanted a roll of papertowels. As I was handing it to him I suddenly snatched it back and said "those are great colors for a card, can't you see it?" I then grabbed a sample of gable green andalmost amethyst and said "don't you agree?" He just rolled his eyes and kept on cooking...You have to be addicted when the colors in a papertowel "inspire" your CS selection!
..........you buy a house just so you'll have your very own stampin\craft room, and you furnish it first. (My husband and I just did that!)
How funny! We just bought a house in December and yes...I got my craft room ready first! I've got to tell my husband I'm not the only one who has done this.
during an SU! party, when someone spills their punch you scoop the cup, ice and all the punch off the table and onto your new carpet! Then your demo says, "What are you doing???" and you reply, "Saving the project!" That was four or five years ago, and my demo has never forgotten!
Yes, yes ... I have another one. You find the house of your dreams, and your son's girlfriend insists that you come look in the master bedroom, where there is an unbelievable walk-in closet with an island in the middle. You say, "Oh, no, I would never need a closet THIS big," and the girlfriend says, "You just don't get it, do you? Look at all the room for your stamps!"
When the last thing you do before shutting off the light at night is a quick flip though your NEW SU catalog updating your wishlist and searching for new card ideas!!
... when you take a week of vacation in the middle of the summer off (w/out DH) and you don't care that the car is in the shop for half of the week because you can get more stamping time in and add to your gallery!
All you can talk about (to anyone who will listen) is how much longer before the new catalog arrives and look at every new catty thread just wondering what you are missing while it is in transit.
When you shop for your stamp habit every place you go to....and trying to find creative ways to fit MORE in the stamp room!

You know you are addicted when you read a thread on SCS about addiction and you can relate to every one of the posts at some level...and your DH giggles and laughs when you act shocked about it.
And I just wanted to share my new byline(once I figure out how to add it
"Never ask a woman her age, weight, or how many stamp sets she has. She will lie about all of them."
Can you believe I was up until after 1:00 in the morning laughing over this thread?? Please--it's the best thing that happened to me all day! Can you gals come up with some more??
