Do you store your SU cardstock & papers seperate...
from your other paper? I don't have a lot of SU cs but I feel like it's too special to mingle with my other paper. LOL. How do you store your SU paper?
April
Eventually I hope to use up the other paper I had before I discovered SU. I have my SU paper in hanging file folders in a rolling cart under my work table. I have a file folder for each color and in each file folder I have a page protector with the scraps of that color.
I keep mine separate. I have my SU cardstock (81/2 x 11) in the creative memories file mate, separated into folders with the scraps at the front of each folder.
Definitely! SU! in one set of hanging files ... 'the rest' elsewhere for dd to use! ;)
I also store most of my patterned paper by manufacturer so that I can get it to 'match' when I combine patterns. (I'm artistically challenged!)
Yes!!! I want to use up my old non su stuff for swaps that are not su then after that it is only su for me. Y\Thanks for the ideas of the files for my paper, I do not have a good atorage system yet, working on mu\y stampin space!! Thanks!! Nancyruth
As most others have said, my SU! paper is stored in hanging files in a two drawer file cabinet. The other papers are stored in accordian files or in a paper storage box with slots that I bought at Sam's Club.

I have my cardstock in folders. I can store 2 color families per folder. I have labeled the front of the folders so I know what's where. I only have cardstock from SU!, Michael's, Target, and Walmart. It's kind of easy to tell which is which. And I do mix and match when I make cards, but I store it separately. Oh and I used to store scraps in one folder all mixed up. Now the scraps go in the front of the matching cardstock.
Definately! I keep all my Stampin Up! colours in their colour families in magazine holders. That way they are upright and on display. My crafting space always looks so colourful and pretty
My "other" paper is at the bottom of my shelf its not coordintated in any means but it is the paper I let my sister and friends use with mad abandon. I don't care if they use a bunch of it, I don't think its "good enough" to be used on any of my cards and pages anymore. LOL! I'm such a SU! snob
I keep my non SU stuff in a rolling file system, and also in my target cube.. my SU stuff fits neatly into one of those plastic file boxes.. altho sooner or later I will need to get something larger.
Yes, I do. All my paper is special, and each type has it's own file. The SU stuff is sorted by colour, my Bazzil papers (which I don't have much of) are in a separate file, and all the gorgeous paper I purchase at the paper boutique has its own files.

when I ordered my first SU CS, I intermingled the sheets with my other non-SU CS; now I wish I hadn't becuase now I'm not sure which is which and it's a pain to try to figure it out. So, since that initial mess, I'm keeping the SU in it's own folder.
