When I first signed up for the internet, I chose one of my favorite Scriptures for my email address. I have since stuck with this verse for my ID. Check out my siggie for the whole verse.

Havnfun... Having FUN .... is just how I feel whenever I have a day alone in my craft room....
But my hubby says it is the way I live, I think he wishes I'd be more serious (we've been marries 40 years, he should know better) after all I was a kindergarten teacher having fun was my normal work day. LOL
I know mine might seem a little odd.... My favortie band since I was 12 have a song called "Miss Murder." My nephew pointed out one time that in the song it sounds like he's saying "Liz Murder." Now it's my screen name for everything.
My rebali123 name is named after my cat Reba. The Li part if because my dogs are Chang Li and I used to have Lei Li. Who knows where the numbers came from; they just rhyme. Reba is happily living with my daughter (as I can't have more then one pet here) so I see her often.
a very long time ago i needed an AIM name to talk to my boss who lived out of state after i was too deaf to make phone calls, so this is an abbreviation of
Johnson's Brothers Greendawn ( an depression china pattern from UK) plain greendawn was taken so hubs shortened it to JBgreendawn to get it to work and Ive just used it for everything everywhere ever since.
Mine's thesillystamper- silly, because my niece calls me "silly aunt michelle" (and may I boast, also fun aunt michelle) and stamper because I LOVE to stamp. Bet that was one hard puzzle huh?
Michelle
Well, Tornadogirl was a name given to me by friends because of my OBESESSION with the weather- more specifically severe weather. In my happy world dream job I would LOVE to move to Tornado Alley and chase/photograph storms.
I finally decided to make this a permanent passion and got a tornado tattoo on my shoulder (which is my profile pic).
Great question- I have always wondered how some people got their names!
When I started on the internet I was 30 years old so I starting using Leslie30 for all my screen names. I'm going to be 40 in 17 days and you better believe I'm not changing my screen name! Too bad I wasn't 29 so I could be 29 forever.

Stampinsane! was my original screen name...I always figured after I changed my screen name this description was floating around on this thread and really make NO sense at all. My screen name was stampinsane! All of a sudden I couldn't sign in unless I came up with a new screen name. I had to create a new screen name every time I signed in. I couldn't believe it! So after a few times I sent a "SOS-HELP" to the mods and I was told it was dumping me possibly because of the exclamation point. I originally wanted Allisstamps. My dad had a dealership when I was growing up that sold Allis Chalmers' tractors. I had to keep changing it each time I signed in. By the time it was fixed it had morphed to Allistamps123...as in my name being Alli who stamps...my name is not Alli but that's what stuck...I put the 123 on because I taught kindergarten at that time.

mine's pretty easy...day job is lead councilor in a locked psych ward, so in order to stay reasonably sane, I teach line dancing and have for many years...cz is my initials

Quite easy really - I lived in Oxford, England for a while and where the Thames runs through Oxford it is actually call the Isis so River Isis. - now everyone better remember that because it is the sort of thing that will come up on Jeopardy! or some other random trivia game

When I was in college I was the biggest Beastie Boys fan EVER!!! I still love their music but don't listen now that I'm a mommy although when anything comes on a mix station in the car I always tell my son "This is the Beastie Boys" and then I giggle to myself.
Anyways they had a song called "She's Crafty" and while it didn't mean "she" was sitting at home in her pj's stamping that's my story and I'm sticking to it!!! AHAHAH!!!
My husband and I both shoot sporting clays....it is my other love along with my cats and papercrafting. Before I quit my full time job in a dental office last year to become a full time caregiver to my mother-in-law we used to travel all over the east coast to shoot in competitions. We still get a day in now and then at our local club.
Love hearing everyones stories.
mine comes from the band Corrosion Of Conformity. The drummer origianlly was called me cochead, ummmmm ya didn't like that, so he started calling me corrosive.
j-jill first name
m-marie middle name
a-alexander last name
rnc--I'm a certified registered nurse--have been for 21 years and love my job. Stamping and crafting is my therapy after a long day!!
weims is for Weimaraner dogs, which we used to breed. Now, we're down to just one (Riley - the 80 pound lap dog) but I've used it for so long now it is just part of who I am.
Mine is easy too....after years of trying to keep people from calling me Kimmie - and getting frustrated, a friend suggested I go with a minimalist spelling and just embrace the name. Then my nephew was born, and to make it easier for him to email me, AuntKimi was born.

Mine is fairly obvious. I'm my Mother's daughter. Who by the way is also a card maker. We've been doing this since about 1994. Sometimes I am so much like here that I scare my DH. LOL
fun thread. I just wasted the whole evening reading these 10 pages.
unfortunately I am one of the boring tales (and i love to tell a good story, drat)
Su is my first name (oh wait story there!) i am Susan, but everyone has always called me Sue, when i was 13 my friend and i played with different spellings and decided Su was best so I showed my rebellious side and started spelling it Su. It stuck and i am tired of explaining it to my adult friends but it is what it is. Where did the e come from anyway?
G is my last name initial.
When I started with StampinUp they told me i had to change my email it was Sustamps, so now my email is my name too.
thanks for sharing your stories it was fun.
My screen-name came about because when my 5 children were growing up, their friends were always at our house and they called me "Mama Howe". Howe is my last name. Those same childhood friends still call me "Mama Howe" when ever they see me. I was like the nursery ryhme "the old woman in the shoe, she had so many children she didn't know what to do!" LOL I love children and to run into one of those young'uns and have them call across a store at me, "Hey, Mama Howe" is the sweetest sound in the world.
So my screen name honors all those many children in my life plus the 5 for my own children.............
