Default Uses for Hodgepodge Hardware Buckles

Hi, I'm fairly new to stamping, and not terribly creative to boot. I love my Hodgepodge Hardware set, but I seem to be unable to find many uses for them. I've threaded ribbon through them, and I some cards that works, but I was wondering if any of you creative geniuses  had better ideas. Thanks!

To clarify, I was referring specifically to the buckle-like pieces in HP. Those stump me the most!

Go to the gallery & do a Search of Hardware, HPH, and Hodgepodge. What you are referring to can also be called a ribbon slide, so I wouldn't just type in Buckle.
