How about a set that says something like "Glad/Sorry you are having a good/bad bipolar day!" Don't mean to make light of mental illness, but sheesh! If you've ever had to live/love someone with it, you need a good laugh!

Now the mental illness, mental illness, mental illness, mental illness stamp set is something I"d like to HEY! Did you just see the guy Why is he looking at me like that? Is it just me? I think he's after me....
Oh, sorry, I live w/ Obsessive compulsive ADHD, autism & my dad's extended family is who knows what. We call it the Roger's disease (grandma's family name). My kids got it...but I'm just fine, just fine, just fine---isn't it nice how it sounds? Just say it over and over and over and over while rocking........
What I think is that SU should take some of these sayings and not make a new set, but simply add them to existing sets - like they did for Loads of Love. So we could have the ones about adoption, "my baby's mama", etc be "Swell News Accessories" - maybe there could be other accessories the pregnant woman could be holding in her hand besides the name book (like a bat, anti-depressants or DNA test results).
Or maybe they could take all of the dysfunctional word phrases and call them: Everyday Flexible Family Situations....

Were we married to the same man? My ex thinks he never did anything wrong. I had to tell the people that both he and I worked with, "Look at it this way, you know me well enough to know I don't run, but I am running as far and as fast away as I can from this man. Think about it". LOL! Thankfully most of them never believed a word of the garbage he was spewing out..lol!

LOL! That is too funny. A while ago a friend of mine and i were discussing how nice SU sayings always were and maybe we should start our own. Ones that said things like "you suck" and others that I can't mention here.

Oh man, if you only KNEW! My step sister married her step uncle (her mom's second husbands brother!) So her mom is also her sister in law, her step dad is her brother in law, her step grandma is her MIL, her step grandma is grandma AND great grandma to her kids, her own mother is aunt AND grandma.... Grandpa is also uncle... YIKES!
Are they from Kentucky, by chance?

This thread reminds me of the show "Who's Line is it Anyway" Especially the games called: Scenes From a Hat or World's Worst. Some of the things they say on there could be made into rubberstamps!

ROTFLMAO... This thread is hysterical. Just think of how interesting it will be for the future genealogists..... It really is nice to not have boring ancestors.....
Feeling a lot better about my disfunctional family after reading some of these. Glad to know we aren't the only ones. Any baby born into this family is guaranteed to have at least six sets of grandparents, maybe more in some cases!

Alcoholic, Drug Addict, Perhaps a whole stamp set themed around Jail, and maybe even a blank "form" stamp where we just fill in the names....(occasion, who started it, what they did, who over reacted, what they did, police called (yes or no- check the right box) and maybe a space to list any injuries and how it ruined the occasion- THIS WOULD BE GREAT FOR SCRAPBOOKING!
Ok the special kind of stupid one got me. If they allow sperm donor I want one for Egg Donor. Can go both ways. How about, "How much money would it take for you to leave? I'll start a collection" My family is included in the putting the "fun" in disfunctional.

Not 10 minutes after I read this thread, SIL calls and she had been discussing DH's latest medical problem with their dad. At least SHE bothered to try and get her facts straight, unlike their aunt who will tell anyone who will listen any number of incorrect facts. Uurrgghh!

All of these posts have me laughing, but this one made me cry!!! I need this one for myself!!! I might have to make a poster of it! I'm not bipolar, I'm mompolar. Two kids with problems, two "normal" ones -- my mood depends on who's in the room!
Seriously, I think it will be a long time before SU addresses this need (or maybe not so long if someone there reads this thread!). SU does try to stay on the sunny side of the street. I don't know if they're ready for the dark side of reality!

And my Uncle who is a pastor, married his step-sister!! Grandpa cheated on Grandma with grandma's bestfriend. How's that for dysfunction??
That reminds me of when I was dating my "cousin" --LOL it wasn't really my cousin -- he was my sister's cousin by marriage (her husband's cousin) but when she would introduce him she would say it was her cousin and then people would look at me since they knew she was my sister, LOL.
