That's what I was thinking, but I didn't want to be the one to say it!! LOL
Sorry you're having to go through all this, Kimberly and Emily. Parents!
i know.. a few weeks ago, she posted a card for her dads upcoming wedding.. and i thought.. surely that is a mistake, but then i read her description of 3rd wedding.
doesnt phase me much though considering my entire family is the the poster child of dysfunction.
I'd buy a set like that in a heartbeat. My family could all go on Jerry Springer w/ just a phone call (and my DH keeps threatening to call us all in just to make a quick $) - it's a huge mess.
Seriously - did you e-mail a suggestion to SU for a set like this?? ;)
How about one for the EX BIL who led a secret gay life style the whole time he was married to my sister. I know, Happy Birthday, Jerk. Thanks for screwing up your family. Oh wait, he was a pastor too. How about, I don't practice what I preach.
(I had a hard time getting over this one, can't you tell)

Oh man, if you only KNEW! My step sister married her step uncle (her mom's second husbands brother!) So her mom is also her sister in law, her step dad is her brother in law, her step grandma is her MIL, her step grandma is grandma AND great grandma to her kids, her own mother is aunt AND grandma.... Grandpa is also uncle... YIKES!
A "crazy" stamp to throw in there would be perfect... it would go perfect for the phrase I need for my crazy-ex-step-mother-in-law. At first, I was going to phrase it like ex-crazy-step-mother-in-law and then I realized that that would mean she used to be crazy but now she's not... and I don't think that's the case.

Ohmygosh, lol! I know that's not supposed to be funny....but it totally caught me at the right moment!
And yes, it was kind of freaky to have him remarried (for a 3rd time) that quickly. Basically I told him how I felt and that it was his life and he had to make his own decisions and the consequences.

This totally cracked me up! My Mom's big joke is that she had to get out of her small backwoods home town before she became her own grandmother!
Yep...we definitely need a "Happy Divorce" stamp. Or "Congratulations marrying the woman you left your wife and kids for" or "Good luck finding another job as a pastor now that you've had an affair with the church divorcee"
These are all for my brother of course Is it bad that I hope they come out with a "Happy Divorce" stamp before he and his adultress get divorced?
It just helps to know I'm not the only one saying "Huh??" when it comes to my family!

I should hook him up with my sister. She got all bent because her 2nd of 3 husbands cheated on her with another woman. Well, I know two wrongs don't make a right, but the REASON he slept with another woman is because SHE DID TOO! I looked at her and said "what? It's NOT cheating if you sleep with someone of the same gender??"... that was her whole argument... he was "cheating"............ pa~leezeeeee.
disclaimer: I love my sister, and am "ok" with her being bisexual... but HELLO?? Cheating is cheating!

"Congratulations on marrying the woman you left your wife and kids for"!

You design it, MamaK, and I'll buy it! Between DH's family and mine, they put the FUN in dysfunctional. On May 20th, my sister (she's 31) will be marrying DH's step great uncle (he's 33) so she will be my sister and my great step aunt-in-law, as well as my DH's mom's sister-in-law. Whew!
These are great. My FIL just got married for the 3rd time this past summer. It is her 3rd marriage as well. At what point to you accept you can't get it right. I have beats this one doesn't last either, she is crazy.
I love the idea of Happy Divorce. How about "What were you thinking?"
How about a set that says something like "Glad/Sorry you are having a good/bad bipolar day!" Don't mean to make light of mental illness, but sheesh! If you've ever had to live/love someone with it, you need a good laugh!
My dear old dad has been legally divorced 5 times but only legally married 4 times!! Not that's not a typo - the 5th marriage was performed by someone who was never legally allowed to do marriages in the state of Ohio. However, the probate court accepted the marriage license and has them down as married. So when it came time to get rid of "wife" no. 5 it was just quicker, cheaper and easier to divorce her as she never knew she wasn't legally married!
