I've been a member of SCS for a while now (member #1536, joined in January of 2004) but lurked for a long time - hence the low number of posts LOL.
Anyway, just had to say that yesterday I got the sweetest IM from a member of SCS who is my neighbor, so to speak. She lives probably 7 minutes from my house, in the next town over. She just became a demo and wants to get together with other demos in the area - how cool is that?
I'm excited about the friendships we get to form here, while sharing ideas and artwork. Thank you to SCS and D&T and your awesome moderator team.

Well, that's WAY cool! That's great for both of you! Yup, SCS rocks! (Although I find it expensive - I check out the gallery and suddenly there are sets I'd originally passed over and discover I just have to own! Take Paisley for example.) Happy stampin' to you and your new neighbor!

Yep, this place is addicting, informative and at times expensive! I think the point is lost on a lot of people why we are here - we are here to stamp, share ideas and encourage each other. This is not an SU exclusive site - contrary to some misbeliefs. Also lost is the point that our moderators and site managers work their tooties off and don't get thanked enough...I certainly wouldn't want to deal with the nasty trolls everyday, who take away from the beauty and originality of this site. SCS has been a constant source of information for me - the gallery is incredible - the support given here is amazing - so I second your "WHOOO HOOO" to all those positive SCS people and to our moderators/managers too!

Yep, I'm a background stamp junkie and I passed over Paisley *all the time!*, that is, until I saw it in the DDD gallery. Then I caved.
If this is torture, chain me to the wall!
