A lovely sample done with encaustic wax paint. I'm fascinated with the technique, but after reading Anne's description, I'm not going to actually try it anytime soon. Encaustic by Anne Ryan

Thanks to You Betcha! for putting my card on your weekly favourites list! What a neat feeling it is to know that wonderful artists are actually taking note of the work I've just started doing!!
Thank you, thank you thank you, DJRants for listing my card as one of your favorites. I am so pleased and if I put red lipstick on this ear to ear smile I'd look like a demented clown! I have GOT to learn how to do this linky thingy! I also have my own favorites I would like to bring to the attention of other SCS members. I've tried the linky thingy and I'm just not getting it. I'll keep trying to figure it out. Also, thank you, Crafts for informing me of this wonderful honor.

I welcomed all of these great ideas, as a departure from my normal cards, as an inspiration to try something different!! Thank you so much for all you bring to the galleries!!
