NO!! This is totally not fair. You are going from NC, a mere hop skip and a jump from Virginny all the way to the evil mudsliding west coast to teach the copics? consider this my second whine of this thread!!!!!

What AJ??
I am totally jealous and going to go to bed and cry...
and excited for you!!
It looks like there are a few more Stamping manufacturers at this show, than there were in Chicago.
There is a new type of card stock that I saw---it is textured on one side, smooth on the other, and the core is a different color from the surface color when you tear it (sounds like I'm talking about a candy bar!) Core'dinations

wow~ the amount of colors they have is impressive!!!
Ya know, they didn't send my tickets (even though I registered the very 1st day they opened registration!), so I have to wait in line to pick them up as soon as I arrive and RUN like the Gingerbread Man to the Tim Holtz class...(in my comfy shoes, of course! LOL!)
Where are ya staying? do you know?
I know you can't eat Buca's, but I think we are heading there Saturday night....loooooove the food there!!! and the tiramasu!
No, I don't think that the Chicago event is as big as the Anaheim one, (at least from everything I have read) but that doesn't mean it wouldn't be a great time. ;)
Me too! I haven't been able to sleep! (seriously!)
LOL...I haven't been able to sleep either, but I suffer from insomia, so I don't think it has anything to do with CHA...lol...BUT, I'm terribly excited, nonetheless.
A question for CHA Anaheim veterans: is there a bag check area at the event center? My outbound flight leaves late in the afternoon but my hotel's checkout is 11:00 a.m. I'm trying to figure out what to do with my luggage for the couple of hours btwn checkout and flight. :?

Most hotels will hold your bags for you at the hotel even after you check out. I don't recall there being a bag check area in Anaheim, although I didn't need that service, so I wasn't really looking. HTH a bit!
Question: I know there is an Express Bus (via Grayline)--but it leaves the airport every hour before 9:45am (it would leave at 8:45am--my flight gets in at 8:30...I would be waiting an hour).
Anyhow, I need to wait in line for my Class tickets(my 1st one is at 11:30am)...no time to waste waiting an hour for the next Express bus...I'm thinking about SuperShuttle--it's actually $10 each way ($8 with COUPONCODE: YK25N)....anyone know HOW much a cab ride is into the Disneyland area from Orange County Airport (SNA)?

How did you get your couponcode? We are arriving at LAX and will be using Supershuttle as well...any discounts are always appreciated. I was just curious how you got it.

Here's the info for Ground Transportation TO and FROM the Airport:
CHA offers a special for the Disneyland Express (grayline): Here is the link for the: paper coupon
Hourly departures from LAX between: 6:30am and 12:30am
Every 30 minute departures between 10:30am-7:30pm
LAX one way-$17/RT-$25
Hourly departures from SNA/OC/John Wayne between: 745am and 1045pm
Every 30 minute departures between 945am-7:45pm
SNA/OC one way--$12/RT-$20
*******************************************
CAB one way from SNA/OC to Disneyland area--approx $42!!!
******************************************
SUPER SHUTTLE--be sure to book online with couponcode:YK25N (from any 2008 Entertainment Book save $2.00 each way).
SNA/OC--one way $10 /RT $20 (with coupon-$8 one way or $16 RT)
LAX--one way $17 RT/ RT $34 (with coupon-$15 one way or $30 RT)
*********************************************
So, if you are flying from LAX, the Disney Express sounds like the cheaper way to go. If you are flying into OC/SNA, then Supershuttle is a tad cheaper with less passengers than the Grayline Bus (aka The Disney Express).
