Spent a few minutes this morning marking 'Reindeer Club' on the 25th of each month. Except for the ones that fall on Wednesday (that's my 6-hr blog post day) I'll spend the day working on my Christmas cards.
My next task is to print out pics of the cards I'm going to case and put one in each month so I'll have my design ready to go.

oh oh oh that is a WONDERFUL idea!!!!! why did I not think of that!!!!!! Oh Oh Oh Lynn runs off to find where she CAREFULLY put away the calendar for next year never to be seen again!
Hi it's been a year or two since I've participated, but I think I'm ready to give it another go.
I'm going to try for four (4) cards a month.
Cheers
Marg
When the Christmas season began this year, I was way behind in the number of cards that I needed. I'm going to join this wonderful group so that I can avoid being behind next year. My goal is 8 cards and 3 tags per month.
I didn't make cards last year and had quite a few disappointed friends and family this year. I might as well start off with four per month. That'll give me more than I need.
I. Am. In. 3 per month seems realistic for me, with hopes of a bonus card here and there.
I'm also committing to a monthly Christmas Spirit event I call "Twenty-Fifthmas." It's my attempt to keep the spirit alive all through the year. On or around the 25th of each month I will do something in the spirit of Christmas, ie: Give-RAK's, make cards, buy/make a gift(s), make cookie dough to freeze, Make decorations, watch a Christmas movie, listen to Christmas music, etc...
I hope to be so organized and ready that when OCTOBER arrives, I can start prepping to decorate and choose a family to adopt for the holidays. Then when DECEMBER arrives I will have the whole month to enjoy each day stress free and keep up with all the festivities.
Unrealistic???

I haven't done this for a few years! I am in...5 a month to work up to 10. I have a stash of SU Christmas paper and stamps to use up so it will be a win-win!!
Hey, I just had a thought, do any of the veteran Christmas Card Challengers combine their designs with the weekly challenges?
I have in the past. I've also used VSN challenges. Whatever the challenge was, I'd give it a Christmas spin where possible... and cut enough of everything to make 10 instead of the one.

Not unrealistic at all, Shannon. I have belonged to a Christmas Notebook Group on yahoo for almost twenty years. That's where I got the reindeer club idea from. We spend the 25th of each month working on something related to Christmas - a lot of the ideas are exactly what you listed. Rhonda holds the class 2x a year for newbies - April and August

I guess I'm a veteran as I've done the Christmas Card Challenge for about 4 years now. I combine mine with any challenges out there - other SCS challenges and challenges on various Christmas card blogs like Merry Monday and Winter Wonderland. It makes the whole process more fun!

I am going for 12 cards a month again and perhaps 3 tags as well. I did get them all done last year just didn't get them added to the posts - will try harder!

I've done that many times with swaps I've been in - the extra cards are for other people to have.

Please count me in for 2 a month. I don't need more than 20 cards but, this year I waited too late and didn't get any done in time to mail out. I was so disappointed in myself as I had purchased quite the selection of Christmas products to use on my cards.
Love, love this challenge! Started a few years ago and I love being able to grab all the cards I made through the year and send them out! Going to do the same as 2014, 8 in total, with 5 per month any colour and 3 in black and white.
I'm going to join in and make 4 per month, maybe some extras - who knows? I'm also depending on my friend Nancy (stiz2003) to keep me motivated to do this!!!!

Count me in on this challenge. I, don't know whether good or bad, have rarely met a Christmas stamp set I didn't like! This year they will see ink and by middle of November, I will have all my cards done!! So help me stay on task ladies!
I'm goign with 15 each month starting in January!!
I never officially signed up but intend to do 3 a month. I'm shooting for more. Love this challenge and it helps to keep up throughout the year although I do fizzle out sometimes.
Hi, everyone, my friend Nancy (stiz2003) convinced me I needed to do this, so here I am! I'll commit to four per month; we'll see if I can make Christmas cards in July, LOL!

I will commit to four cards a month (minimum) :-) I did not mail out all of the ones I created last year since some were too bulky and will be the ones I use this coming year for hand delivery...will try to make this year's with less embellishments and layers :-) Thanks again for hosting this yearly challenge and motivating us!!
I took 2014 off as I had enough cards from prior years.
I'm back and will do 10 a month.
Thanks for this challenge.
I really enjoy looking at all the wonderful cards each month.
Well.............I signed up last year and didn't get anywhere near my goal. It worked out as I became overwhelmed with who to send my cards to and only sent out a handful. New year. New goal.
I am going to put my Christmas card in an envelope with the name of the recipient (not the address as it might change) on the front as I create them that way............come December I won't feel the crazy pressure of who gets what (Ummmm I am the restless sort and don't like to make the same card over and over. I KNOW that's crazy when you have a lot to do ..........but that's how I am...Kinda crazy!
I am going to say 4 a month but I am going to try not to beat myself up over it if I don't get them done. Recipient's name on the envelope is the GOAL!
Angie, that's one of the most difficult tasks for me, addressing the envelopes! I like your idea of putting the card, once it's created, in the envelope with the recipient's name on the envie.

Must Try Harder!
OK .... new year, new start!
Like several of you ladies I fell off the wagon but right from the start of 2014 for several reasons one of which was the arrival of grandson number two
But that wasn't till early November so what is my excuse for the beginning of the year ?????
Come late November I started creating and made about 70 cards but no time to post or photograph them. I also failed miserably when it came to checking out what you were all creating and leaving a little love on your galleries ....
So count me in again for 8-10 but I may not stick to the monthly theme!!!!
Wishing you all a very happy and healthy 2015 with lots of inspired crafting ...
Hi Vikki Jo,
Last year was an extremely bad year for my family with health issues. So after spending two weeks in November making 140 cards!! I really need the CCC15!!
Sign me up and I am aiming for 12 - 15 cards a month!! And of course tags!
Best Wishes to everyone for a happy and healthy New Year!
Ann
Believe it or not, I used to moderate this Christmas card Challenge. Since then I have stopped I have really struggled with getting my cards done. This year, I didn't get them mailed until the Monday before Christmas and my output was abut 30 less than I wanted.
So here I am setting my goals, maybe writing them down will motivate me.
I plan to do between 5-10 each month.
Wish me luck!
