2015 Christmas Card Challenge
Post your monthly goal (how many do you need to make) here on this thread, post your monthly cards on each appropriate thread.. Links below in the next post.
WHO: Everyone that needs cards for the Holidays;
WHAT: Complete Christmas/Hanukkah cards (Thank you cards, tags or whatever you need) each month (January through November) You can set your monthly goal for however many you’ll need. There is no score keeping here! It's all for you and helping you stay motivated.
WHY:To relieve stress! This way you’ll have plenty of cards to send out for the holidays!! We all know how busy December can be, so why not try to get your holiday cards all done by the end of November! Remember, the whole idea behind this challenge is to make your life easier.
WHERE:First upload to your gallery then post a link in the designated thread*.Please use CCC15 in the Title or Keyword so that others can search for your cards!*Please use only the thread that I start for each month or you might be missed in the lovin'.
To attach a link here, when the page you want us to go see is open, go to the address bar and 'copy the whole thing' then go to where you want it seen and paste it in the post box. ( step by step instructions with pics in PDF in the below... I made that back in 2011, man that is an oldie! Kinda neat to read again)
WHEN: The whole month! There is no 'deadline' for getting your monthly cards done. This is just a motivational challenge to help you!
HOW: Just post a reply to this thread saying that you want to join, how many cards you will need to do each month and then start creating! Make your cards any way you like - make them all the same or mix them up. Any tools, toys, gadgets, embellishments, etc...you decide- after all, these are YOUR cards.

Monthly Threads
You can join anytime during the year. . If you need to skip a month or two, that is perfectly fine.

Way to go Susie, maybe if you have enough stamps for Christmas, you can use each of your sets for 2015 to dust them off!

Thanks VikkiJo! I didn't post any cards for 2014 but I followed along and cheered everyone else along. Sign me up for 2015. I think I will only need 4 per month.

I'll sign up again as it helps me get enough done for the fundraiser sale I do in November. I'll aim for 10 a month again.
Thanks, Vikki Jo, for setting it all up for us!

This challenge was a real life-saver for me in 2014. Although I didn't get them all posted, I ended up with almost 150 cards! Eighty were auctioned off for charity raising almost $500 and the rest are going out to family and friends next week!
I am signing up for 10 a month in 2015.
I just ordered a pile of Christmas sentiments from the SU End of Year Clearance this morning and will start my new stash when they arrive!

I'm going to set 5 a month as my goal, but I know I've done more and less each month. I need to rethink my uploading strategy as I don't think I uploaded right. I think I uploaded them all to the CCC14 gallery but not individual months. I will go back and read the first post and see if I can get my self straightened out before the new year starts! I made over 120 cards this year!

Vickie, the uploading document no longer is valid since they changed the uploading process. I have no trouble figuring it out, but a newbie might get lost. Maybe we could get a new uploading file if you have time? Thank you so much for continuing this!

I didn't do this for 2014, because I didn't send many out last year. So had a lot left over for this year, but now running short. LOL
So for 2015 I will sign up for 3 month to start with.

Anyone remember me? hehe
As I sit here prepared to address ::: gasp ::: boxed cards, I have to do better next year. While the first four months of the year will be kind of scary, hopefully by Thanksgiving 2015 I'll have 'real' cards to mail.
I still need to do 10 cards + 5 gift tags

HI Kathy
You'll still upload to the CCC15 gallery but then you'll link to your gallery upload in the individual month.
So Upload.
Then post in that month's thread with a link to your card 4
Hope that helps.

I'm in! Seems I join every year and about every other year, it works out well cause I keep up with it each/most months. This was not that year. So I am looking to 2015 with crafty optimism.
While I do send out Christmas cards each year, I am with Susie in that I have A LOT of Christmas stamps, some of which have never known the joy of being bathed in inky goodness. So I'm going to try really hard not to buy any Christmas stamps next year -- will be surprised if I can resist, but going to give it my best shot. (I'm sure the stamp companies will take pity on me and not come out with any super cute/gorgeous/gotta have holiday stamps -- LOL!)
Anyhow, looks like I made about 70 cards this year, so let's say 6 per month and see how that goes.

I just made my first Christmas for 2014 today - the year flew by so fast and I spent way too many hours at work! Fortunately, there are still some cards from 2012 and 2013 when I did participate in this Challenge. So even though I didn't hit my goal every month in either year, I had more cards than I needed and hopefully people won't receive the same design I sent them before since I mass produced the same design each month.
Will aim for 5 cards per month.

I need to join in this fun monthly challenge to get ahead of the game on cards...I had to sit down and do 50 cards (thankfully all the same and they were CAS too) but doing them all in one day and I still have to do the inside and get them in the envelope I just can't keep up. So I need to commit to around 6 at the minimum to have enough for next year.

I think I didn't keyword mine right last year. I believe I uploaded them all to the CCC14 gallery, but I didn't keyword them for the months. I need to figure it out so I do it right in the new year.

Kelly -- I was in one of my cupboards over the weekend (well, not literally IN it) and found a box of "emergency" Christmas cards I had purchased a few years back. So far, they have not been used. But I like knowing they are there so that, if things get totally nuts in my life, I don't feel I need to make myself crazy trying to get a bunch of handmade cards finished. Especially for those "B List" people we all have on the list.

**SIGH**
I say I'll do this every year, and each year I end up having to grab some cards at the store to mail.
Put me down for 3 cards a month.

I am so happy to see so many of the same faces appear here year after year. You are all a testament that this does work. For the newbies, don't let the veterans overwhelm you. LOL Go at your own pace and just focus on month by month. Any card you make is one step closer.

I loved doing this challenge and even made more than I committed to each month, so now I have an excess. But I like how it made me stretch and now I have an entire stash of cute Christmas stamps I need to use so put me down for 3 each month.

I think I need to get going right now for next year. I am a few cards short this year because I have added several people to my list of Christmas Cards. But I may be dropping some off too so I will stay with the 5 cards per month. Sign me up!

Hi, I've never done a month by month Christmas card challenge before and would love to try if U'll have me
So glad that it doesn't start until January and that it can be posted at anytime, no sets dates....
I am committing to create 5 cards a month (but hoping to do 10!)
Great idea w/out the last minute stress!! Thanks!
