I want to shout out a HUGE THANK YOU for keeping us creating and stamping week after week. We don't care if it is a day or two late occasionally...we understand that life gets in the way of our stampin' stuff sometimes. That doesn't mean we aren't *waiting* for it....but that is just because we are ADDICTED to your Sketch Challenges!!!
This is my first sketch challenge and first square card. I did a bit of a take on the sketch, but followed it fairly well. I'm not sure what I think of this one yet!
Whoo hoo! I stamped This is the first card I have made since October 15th. I forgot how much fun stamping is! It was scary at first though because I thought maybe I forgot how to do this stamping stuff lol. Here is my square card. It is 5.5x5.5. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I try not to look at the other cards in a challenge until I upload mine. MAN.... ALL of yours are great! I must comment later.... we are on our way out to the movies.
Here's mine... I combined it with last week's WT40 (Versamark) Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
WooHoo!!!! I got one done! I was cleaning my stamp room and stopped right in the middle to do this! It's a little 3x3. Thanks for the challenge Andrea! I LOVE square cards.
Andrea - Thanks so much for posting this. When I first saw you were doing a square card I was disappointed - 'cause I was envisioning a lot of wasted cardstock (ie: getting only one card out of each sheet). But your simple instructions made me reconsider!!! Thanks for posting the instructions! Looking at them I think - duh - I should have figured that out for myself. However, since I previously wouldn't have considered a square card, I wouldn't have taken the time to even think about it. So, hats off to you my dear! - Feeling like a simpleton.... :-)

Thats actually one of hte reasons why I'd never done a square card before either. I HATE wasting cardstock. I just had a light bulb moment last week and realized that I didnt HAVE to make a big card lol. So it wasnt just you ;) because it took me this long to realize it too!
Sorry to post this one again....but I think I messed up the first time and it does not show in the SC53 gallery...forgive me...I am new to the challenges
here is one more....I just love the square cards....have made many through the years, but always too big....love Andrea's suggestion for a 4.25 square card......
Here is my card. It is supposed to be a lavender and lighter blue but when I scanned it, the colors didn't turn out right.

Am having more fun with square cards, especially using Andreas idea of 4 1/4 by 4 1/4 cards....... however.....this one scanned poorly, but you'll get the idea.....color is lacking here....as it was subtle on the original and the scanner did not really pick it up Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
