I just went to Michael's in the SW suburbs of Chicago (willowbrook) and when I paid the clerk gave me the receipt and said," here's your 50% off receipt that starts this Sunday". It actually prints along with your current receipt. I asked her if this is one time or everytime you make a purchase. Apparently it's on every purchase no matter the amount of the current purchase..... The coupon says 50% off one regular priced item starting this Sunday-through next Saturday October the 18th.... I was suprised.... Just FYI... Carol

Is Michaels like JoAnn's and puts practically everything in the store on some kind of sale so that you can't use the coupon (regular priced merchandise only)? :confused:

I bought some ribbon there today and the receipt had a coupon on it.. I told the lady thank you very much and she said to wait and she printed me another.. I said thank you again!!! now to hopefully use them and not lose them like I always do. Pam

Just made a purchase at Michael's this morning (Sat 10/11), and there was no coupon on the receipt.:( Oh well, maybe there'll be one emailed for next week.
mcbenjam - isn't it always that way for we OHIO folks. Why can't our Mike's get just a little of the benefits the other states get. Everytime I see a post about Mikes and I'm in the area I check it out and can never find the bargain. I'm getting where that's the last store I go do anymore. Luckily, Monday morning I will be standing in line for the opening of our Hobby Lobby, which is new in our area. I'm so excited.
I got my 50% off coupon when I went to Michael's yesterday that printed with my receipt also. Starts sunday. I think I'm gonna try and purchase my first set of primas. ;)
I got one last week and when I returned an item yesterday, the cashier printed me off another one to have! Of course, she see me in there about 3 times a week LOL!

I was told by the check out gal at JoAnn's on Saturday that they will accept Michael's coupons on items that both Michael's and JoAnn's carry, such as the stamping stuff. I'm going to check it out with my 50% off coupon I got from Michael's on Saturday for a punch I want from JoAnn's.
I too just took back a MS punch to Michael's today. This is the second one I have purchased that does not punch all the way through. I asked the clerk at Michael's if they have had other complaints. Both her and the clerk next to her said they heard no other complaints. So, I thought it was just a coincidence that I got two of them. The other odd thing was that she asked if I just wanted to get another one of the same kind, which I really did, but I said I would want to try it first and they did not want me to open the box to test it!!!!!! Unbelievable....so I just got a refund.
AC Moore is giving you a 50% off coupon for the following Saturday when you make a purchase. I've gotten one the last several times I've been there this month.
I too received a 50% coupon that was attached to my sale Receipt, So I went yesterdsay in Oswego IL. And purchased a 2 inch Marvy Square punch $13.99 and got it for $7.00.
Then when I checked out they gave me another one for 20% off any regular item until Oct 24, 2008
