This week's inspiration card is just lovely and the sketch is very unique I think. CathyRose's card uses unqiue colors and I love the layered piece with the window. I hope you will agree that CathyRose's card is a great inspiration.
Bonus fun!!! Every time you link a card using SC34 to this thread you will be entered into a drawing to win a little prize! So, the more cards you create, upload, and link here the more chances you have to win! The winner will be announced when next week's sketch is posted, so you have a whole week to make cards for the bonus fun.
To print this layout: - (nc means no color) If you see a small layout click on it or if you see an icon click on the words next to it.
-When the black surround screen appears click only on the layout and a white screen with the layout should appear.
-Right click and click on print from the pop up box or hold down your shift key and P key at the same time.
-Now you're ready to choose print and it should print to actual size of the card depending on your computer.
Thanks for the challenge. Good thing it rainy and miserable outside here!!! Gives me a good excuse to hunker down and stamp.....all afternoon????? Could it be true?
Hi Andrea,
I have not done any sketch challenges but I would like to start. I can make a card but I have no idea how to post it to the thread. Can you help me??
Thanks,
Wendy
okay the next part is easy then! After your card is uploaded and approved go the gallery and click on the card. Go up to the top of the screen where it has the web address and highlight it and right click and click copy. This is the web address for your card. Then just come to this thread and make a post and click paste and it will have the address for your card to people to click on.
OR
YOu can always get the pics on your computer and add them as an attachment to your post here like I do for the sketches. They won't be in your gallery but it is a fast and easy way to post them here.
I finally finished mine and got it uploaded and approved. I loved the original card, but felt that the sketch was fairly confining. I'm not sure why. I normally don't look at the original cards until after I am finished with mine as to not influence me in anyway, but I just couldn't visualize this one (hey, it was a hard sketch to draw!) Maybe that was the problem?
It has been so long since I could play in one of your wonderful challenges, Andrea! Today was a quiet day around here, kid recouperating on the couch after a nasty run in with the asphalt, so I had some down time, before I start on next month's dd. Here's my card:
I really liked this challenge. It took some thought to come up with something but I loved putting it together. What a nice layout. I will have to do more. Thanks for the challenge.
This looks like a fun sketch, I will work on my creation right away.
and to jen70, your reply said, "This looked so neat, but I had a hard time with it. I'm afraid I'm not sure I like the outcome of mine."
I loved the outcome of yours and thought the poptab was a cool idea!!!
With this being my 1st challenge ever, it was definately a challenge. I'm glad I did it because I can't see myself thinking up this layout. I'm not sure I really like the way mine turned out so I'm going to try some more. Well, here it is... Cool Cat by Bluemacc66 at Splitcoaststampers

Wow. I really like this sketch challenge and am going to have to do more. Hopefully I'll have more time on the weekend to do some. However, I might not have internet by then (my roommate's moving out and taking the router) but I should be able to upload them at work (aka the university)
I'm hoping my mind might start working tomorrow, (altho I'm not holding my breath), and I can try this again! Thanks for these challenges, Andrea... they REALLY help my creative blocks!
I look forward to the Sketch challenge every week. I also like to try new techniques. In this card I am using a new technique I just learn in stamp camp. Festive Smile Card
