You can join our incredible papercrafting community at NO COST. So what are you waiting for?
If you are a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator and would like to join the Demo Forums, here’s the latest instructions on applying:
(The process really hasn’t changed, just the Moderators that do the approvals have) ;)
CLICK IN THE UPPER RIGHT HAND CORNER WHERE IT SAYS "Welcome _______"
scroll down and click on GROUP MEMBERSHIPS on the left-hand side
SU DEMOS ONLY GROUP
You will then be a sent a PM asking for verification and telling you what you need to send to my e-mail for approval into the group. IT IS NOT AUTOMATIC APPROVAL BECAUSE YOU APPLY – YOU STILL HAVE TO BE MANUALLY APPROVED.
Here is my plea:
PLEASE do not e-mail or PM me to ask how long it takes or if you have been approved and PLEASE respond by the date listed! How can you tell if you have been approved?
Click on forums, you will see the demos topics at the top. If you click on your name and look at your profile, at the bottom right you will also be able to see if you are a member of the SU demos group.
I APPLIED TO THE DEMOS ONLY FORUM-NOW WHY CAN'T I SEE IT? *Admittance to the SU demos forum is not automatic.
Once you apply (directions above), I will send you a Private message outlining what is needed for verification. Please make sure you have clicked the box stating that you are willing to receive private messages in your profile so it will go through and FOLLOW ALL DIRECTIONS-ESPECIALLY RESPONDING BY THE REQUESTED DATE AND INCLUDING YOUR SCS NAME I SENT THE VERIFICATION, NOW WHERE IS THE FORUM? *The verification is actually checked by a human-ME! I do them regularly and will post to this thread if there is a reason why I would not be approving – i.e., vacation, etc. Once you are approved you will be able to see the forum at the top of the list when you click on the "forums" tab. HOW WILL I KNOW IF I AM IN THE DEMOS SECTION? *IF you have sent me the requested verification, I will put you in as quickly as possible. PLEASE do not e-mail asking if you are in - you can check yourself. Go to your User Profile, click Group Memberships, and at the bottom it will show what groups you subscribe to.
If you’re not sure how to get to your profile, you can click on your name in any thread you have posted to and it will bring up your profile. Look in the bottom right corner and you will see what groups you are in.
I SEE I AM SUBSCRIBED TO THE DEMOS FORUM-NOW WHAT? Just click on forums, the top forums are the demos only forums and you will see such topics as "Workshop Ideas", etc.
I SENT IN MY VERIFICATION, WHY AREN'T I IN? There can be 3 reasons that you are not in the forum if you sent the e-mail verification in: 1. I just have not had a chance to put you in yet.
2. You did not include your Splitcoast name.
3. You applied over a week ago and did not send me your verification BY THE DATE REQUESTED (It is highlighted in red-ya can't miss it!) Names are removed when that date goes by If you do not respond by the date requested, go back under and reapply. I will take names off the pending list as it takes up space on the (ever-growing). AGAIN, if you don’t reply by the requested date, your name will be removed from the list and you will have to reapply.
If you know it has not been a week and you are still not in 3 days after you sent verification, please resend it to my e-mail. Again, PLEASE do not PM or e-mail as to whether or not you are in -- you can check it yourself and not have to wait for an answer from me . If you have sent in the verification and do not think you are in, click on your profile FIRST to see if you are in the group (again, look in the bottom right corner) and then reapply under User Profile – Group Memberships and resend your verification. If it says you are still pending, then just resend the verification requested.
If you do *not* reply to my PM with an email containing the requested information within a week, you will be taken *off* the pending list and will have to reapply!
FY - if you get slow or no responses over the next few days - May 3-6 - I will have little to no computer access as I am leaving today for my hubby's graduation from college. We won't be home until Sunday. Please bear with me, I'll get to you as fast as I can!!!
I'm going to be sporadically checking in again this weekend - May 11-13. One of our absolute best friends is graduating from nursing school this weekend and we are going to celebrate with him. I'll get everyone caught up as quickly as I can!
Karen, the Demo Only Forums on SCS are set up for SU! demos - the main reason there is even a demo only forum is because this site was started for Tracy by her husband Daven, as a way for her to reach her SU! downline and it has just grown immensely over the years.
I believe www.ashadeofblue.com has a TAC demo forum - I could be wrong. Good luck!
If you do not hear back from me over the next few days - we are heading out of town on the 14th and won't be back until the 17th - limited computer time while on the road.

Actually, the TAC (The Angel Company) Angel's Only Forum is no longer available on ASB but there is a brand new one set up for Angel's Only that has just started called Paper Wings. You have to register to see all of the forum but the link is: http://paperwings.myfreeforum.org/index.php
If you are a TAC angel, we would love to have you stop by.
Hey ladies. I am new to stampin up and just joined this site. I hope it is working...I love stamping and scrapbooking...I am always looking for new ideas to do at my workshops

Hello
I have a question for any Stampin up supervisor. I used to be a Stampin up Demonstrator for 2 years, in july I quit. But I would like to come back. I want to know if I need to buy the kit again. Or what I need to do for coming back. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!
My friend, who is a demo, just applied using my computer (long story her hubby took laptop on trip) and now I am thinking you will think I am the demo cuz I was logged in - when verification comes to me should I forward it to her or what??? Oops, we just were not thinking when she did it.

I'll cc this to the person handling the approvals. If she has questions, then she can contact you. ;)
Could anyone pm me the requirements? I know I am not supposed to chase but would at least like to get the answers together while I am waiting for my PM, I can't imagine what else would be needed other than a demo number and provided that in my request. I am so impatient! Each day seems like an age
Yes, I know what you mean. I sent my message last Thursday and haven't heard anything yet. It seems like years to me :( but I realize it's only been 4 business days. This 'passion' gets me carried away sometimes. Can't wait to see all the goodies on the demo side though - I've heard so much about it.
Congratulations on having just become Stampin' Up! Demonstrators! I myself can easily remember how I wanted to shout outside on the days following receipt of my demonstrator id number! We're tickled for you and your recent new & exciting news here at SCS!
At the same time, we applaud and thank you for your patience after making application to join the Demo Forums here at SCS. All moderators here at SCS, including SCS-addicted me, are volunteers. And for valid reasons, only one SCS person accepts and processes applications to our demo forums. With that in mind, your application can take a few days. We understand your eagerness & excitement ... because many of us are demos too! ;) But we do appreciate your patience as you wait for official notification regarding your application to our demo forums. Don't worry! The information in there won't disappear .. It will all be there when you receive your approval.
Thanks everyone! And Congrats on you new SU Demonstrator status! ;)
I have a question, I nkow wehn you do a demo you are only supposed to use stampin up products....
is it ever smart to show a bad example of non -stampin up products?
as like a you should use stampin up because look how much better it is?
or is that a nono stay clear of it?

I requested membership and I got a PM from newtnewt and I sent the verification e-mail straight away, that was over a week ago. I have gone into the group membership in my control panel but the request to join the group is still greyed out. Does anyone know what I can do?
Sarah, send me the verification again. I quite possibly could have inadvertently overlooked it and occasionally the responses get mixed in with spam messages. I apologize for the inconvenience.
Along the same idea as the previous thread - can we use cuttlebugs at workshops? Not the first night for new stampers but later on?
No, we cannot demonstrate other products. I'll send the paragraph from the online Demonstrator Manual that addresses this question. It's found on page 6.3 . ;)
I thought I did the right thing to get permission to view the demo only forum but I must have done something wrong. I have looked over the directions several times and thought I did it correctly but I have not been granted permission. I am new again so I would like to do what I need to get varified. Please help!!!!!!
