Here is the Sketch CHallenge for week 6 (can you believe it?)
This card, done by Carolina, is the inspiration for the sketch,
and it looks like she got inspiration from another great stamper Michelle Wooderson.
Don't ya just love how we all inspire each other so much?!? Anyway, Carolina's card just popped out at me the day she posted it - love the colors, layout, stiching, everything!
Have fun with this week's challenge! Don't forget to post your work if you can! Let's see how this darling card inspires you!!!
*********** SURVEY ***********
I added a little survey about the sketch challenges. It is in post #36 of this thread, so please let me know what you think!
To print this layout: - (nc means no color) If you see a small layout click on it or if you see an icon click on the words next to it.
-When the black surround screen appears click only on the layout and a white screen with the layout should appear.
-Right click and click on print from the pop up box or hold down your shift key and P key at the same time.
-Now you're ready to choose print and it should print to actual size of the card depending on your computer.
Oooooooooh! This is a fantastic sketch choice!! Ideas are just bubbling up. Too bad I still don't have a scanner or digital camera . But I can't wait to see everyone's cards!!!

ok, this will be my first sketch challenge attempt.....no way can I do the stitching, but I am going to give the general idea a shot.....LOL, I'll be back in 4 hours!
Thanks for the challenge. Looking forward to attempting it. As I jotted down this sketch, it struck me that it contains elements from previous challenges. Tags (sketch #1), Something tucked behind/in another element (sketch #3) and a horizontal piece across the lower section (sketch #4).
Can't wait to see what everyone else comes up with.

ok, I did one, it's nowhere on any scale with what I've seen so far...but I did it. First time doing this challenge/using mesh/using my new pencils. Problem being, I haven't the vaguest idea how to link to it,,,,,I did put it in my gallery. If anyone could pm me with "adding a specific link for dummies" I would appreciate it!
1. Judy, click on the card in your gallery you want to post in another forum.
2. Look up at the top where it says "address" (like where you type www.)
3. Right click on the address
4. click copy
5. then go to the site you want to post your link, and right click again.
6. choose the copy command
7. walla, there you have it
very simple and easy to so. hope this helps.

woohoo it worked!! I made that much harder than it needed to be....and that card looked soooo much better to me at 2am!!!!
Thanks for all your help everyone!
This is the first card I've ever made. Nervous. I thought I would take the challenge and it was fun. I need to improve on my coloring, but I am proud. thanks for inspiration..didn't attempt the stitching.
Please comment on the card and let me know what you think about my using a photo instead of a tag -- I'm thinking about using this layout as my holiday card for 2005!
quick question/survey for those who do the challenges:
With every week's sketch I have been trying to alternate landscape and portrait sketches. I am finding that I seem to be drawn to one more than the other, as my faves are full of one way but hardly any of the other
Anyway, would you prefer that I a) try to alternate between landscape and portrait or b) which ever, just keep posting them
