Here it is!!!! This is the new list for the RAK PRIMA DONNA'S!!!
Here is what you need to do to be added to this VERY ELITE and welcoming list!! You need to email or pm me (Darcy) the following information: SCS name, Real first and last name, address, birthday and anniversary.
Anyone can join! Just pm me the information!
An RAK is a Random Act of Kindness. This is when you send a just because card to someone on our list. It is so great to receive mail that isn't a bill or junk!
Now IF/WHEN you receive an RAK you need to post a thank you here. You may also post a link to the RAK if you have uploaded it to your gallery!
If you are sending out RAK's feel free to send out a teaser or two here too.
NOW off you go and let's keep this up at the top of the Scrapbook Sketch and Challenge forum!
If you cannot open up either the Excel or the Word documents then please EMAIL me and I will email you the Rich Text Format. (I will also add your email to the list of those that need this format so that any time that I update the list I will send you the new list!)
This list is being updated regularly. If you do not see your name and it is supposed to be there PLEASE pm me and let me know! Also the same goes for if your name is there and you would like to be taken off the list. Thanks! CLICK HERE (POST# 887) for the updated list!!!!

Thank you Diana (princessdi69) for my RAK! It was a good to open yesterday! (unlike the mail that was telling me that my dr. (not family but the one that writes my script every month) was leaving his practice!)
THANKS AGAIN!!!!!!!!
I will post a link as soon as I get it uploaded in a few!
DUHH!!!! It is Sunday! I will try to remember to do the upload tomorrow!!!
I have to say I'm a little behind on posting the RAK's I received. Thank you to Amy, Cindy, mholles & basement stamper. They are all beautiful. I will get them scan this pm.

DUH!! I didnt even knw this was here yet...I was all postin in the other thread...how did u do this? See what I get for being away for a few days..Off to clear the old list so ppl can post in here.
I has a very busy week this week and didn't post the great card I recieved from Amy. I recieved it last Wednesday. I'll add a link later, right now the scanner is on the fritz. I must have fried it during VSN. I was so happy just to get the card but especially excited that it was made with the Roses in Winter stamp set. I was thinking of getting it but wanted to see it in person. Thanks Amy
I also just red that Amy was taking some time off the challenges. Good for you. Family's what it's all about. We'll miss you and will be glad when you're back but take care of yourself and the little one on the way.

Howdy! It's me, Nadelle, I made some RAKS today...lets see who will get them?!?!?!?!? Hee hee! I'll just say I used a SAB set I earned that I really like!
How do we post the RAKS if our photo software is having a major PMS fix and we don't own a scanner?

Nadelle,
I say on the uploads, If you can't scan them then let us know and hopefully the other end of the card will scan and/or post them. I know I scanned the ones I did and uploaded them!
Good morning, I've had my 2 cups of hot chocolate and I am all caught up with the dishes...and then I gotta fold some laundry and then I'm gonna make some more RAKS before I go to the school for the valentine parties this afternoon. Maybe my motivation sucks, but I like making these RAK cards right now!
Hugs to everybody and Happy Valentine's Day...I can feel the LUV on here!

OMG! I am having a DUH moment! Is it because I turned 36 yesterday? Here I go I made 4 cards. I'm sitting at my desk trying to get them ready to be mailed. Well, I placed 3 in my outbox to bring to the mail box but then I go to print the stamp for the 4th card and then I miss place the card! I know my desk is a mess and I really need to clean it off but where in the world did that other card go? I know I made 4. Oh, boy this stinks. Anyway after about 15 minutes of searching for it I found it. It was on my postage scale under my desk as I needed to weigh it to print the stamp (overseas hint hint)! So to make a long story short. 4 cards are going out today. This was a lot of fun and I got to use my new sets and even on one I did a new technique.

U have a whole setup! shoot i needed to go to the post office today! guess i will have to try to go on my way home tonight
Since I have the triplets I had to find a way to do all my post office stuff from home since I can't go out of the house. I pay for the service at stamps.com and I tell you it's great. I can print up my stamps and even mailing labels for packages and just hand it to my post man. If the weather is nice I leave the box at my mailbox but if the weather is bad I put a note in the box for the mail man to ring my bell because I have a pick up. The only time I have to go to the post office is when I need to send overseas and that's rarely. I also have a digital mailing scale which I bought from them so it is great all I do is weigh my package and put in the totals in the computer and print. I've been doing this for over a year now. It's well worth the $15 monthly fee. (NO WAITING IN LINE)
I, too, have a stamps.com account, and I LOVE it! Not only can I print stamps and mailing labels, but I can print INTERNATIONAL stamps. This has been great since I've participated in several Canadian swaps/stamp trades. Customs forms can be printed from www.usps.com, and I can notify them through there the night before that I have a pick-up if it's more than just one package. It saves me on sanity -- no waiting in line with my two little girls!! Totally worth the monthly fee!
Ok, I want to send out some cards to you all and first have to ask a very silly question. When you send these RAK cards out, do you write in the inside or do you leave it clean so that the next person can add the card to their personal stash. This might be such a dumb question, but debated about it most of the day. When I send out cards to my close friends and relatives I write the personal note on notebook paper and add it separate from the card, so they can send the homemade card on to someone else.
I debated about it too before I sent out a batch. I decided to go ahead and write in it. I figured everyone on SCS was like me and had enough cards around the house

I am so sorry it took me so long to get this on here!!! Please forgive, CIndy had me in the corner for awhile!!:(
I sent some and what I did was (I think) typed out what I wanted inside as a personal writing and then just stuck it in the card with removable adhesive!
I got two thank you cards today. They are so pretty. One is from Diana and one is from Vicki. Both cards were made by the noteworthy SAB set and both used certainly celery (my favorite green color). My noteworthy set is not very loved. I've only used it once. It will be used this weekend at my workshop though. Thanks for the beautiful cards.

Thank you Diana (princessdi69) for the lovely RAK I received today. I certainly needed a cheering up today after the long stressful day with the triplets. I tell you I think there is such a thing as terrible 1's. They just do not listen.
I just discovered a new game called Guess the stamp set. I only heard of Stampin' Up last March and was totally hooked as soon as I was the catalogue. It's amazing that I even knew some of the sets. I knew the Butterfly was from Sketch an Event and the sentement was from All Year Cheer (I just didn't know I came after) I'm still stuck on the wheel. I thought Love Swirls but that's totally wrong. Trying to guess the sets were almost as fun as getting the card.
I'm a dork. I know.

Hey Taryn! You are more than welcome! You are pretty good at that Guess The Stamp game!! You are right about the Sketch an Event and the All Year Cheer I, but the background is not a wheel actually. It is a background stamp called Soft Swirls. I just got it and had to play with it. Next I am getting French Script and Floral, so we'll see what I can create with those!! I'm so glad you liked it!!!

Thanks for the cute RAK card Darcy (arhawg). Charli and I really liked it. We had a death in the family last week and I am still pretty consumed with that. I will try to get it scanned into my gallery in the next few days and post a link here so all can enjoy it!
