Hello everyone!!! First I want to thank everyone for the wonderful welcome to the TLC Challenges...you are all FABULOUS!!!
I have a great challenge for you today - Embossing on Embossing - and I found my inspiration from one of our challenge Sisters.....Karen Barber!!
Karen made this gorgeous card for the Color Challenge this week called CC278 A Beautiful Trio of Color. She used a resist technique and then dry embossed over the image.
You can use a simple embossing technique and then dry emboss over the top, do an emboss resist first and then finish it with the dry embossing, or dry emboss over dry embossing....what ever flips you skirt!!!

Fantastic challenge Joan and Karen! This was a hard one for me! I tried twice, working for 3 hours this morning. I must say my horses are a little mad for me being so late feeding. Here's number one TLC281 Embossing on Embossing by yo sam at Splitcoaststampers
Thankyou for a great challenge. I don't know how you guys keep dreaming up these new techniques every week, now that's creativity! Had fun with this one. I started with my embossed, embossed piece and then mounted it on a piece of bronze cs, it looked good but when it came time to shoot it I kept getting a flash on the metallic cs. This morning I decided to redo it and remounted it on a much brighter patterned cs, much better. How much better you think and create on a well rested brain! Here it is RELIEF.
I wished I had looked at the gallery before making my card! There are several good tips in the descriptions! I tried EB several different ways before doing it the way I did. I embossed images, then ran them thru the EB folder, and they just didn't come out right.
I finally just embossed the sentiment on the embossed paper. Then I used a EB panel on an EB panel. But now I see everyone was having more success than me. So thank you Joan! I have had a learning experience today! Here is my Late Rabbit.
Thank you for looking.
Joan, this was a wonderful challenge. I don't think I would have tried this on my own without your prompting. I really like how it turned out. My double embossed card.
