Candy Williams - Cwilliams
Lake Mary, FL
I must be dreaming - please, someone pinch me . . . Me, a Dirty Girl!!! WOO HOO!! When I logged in and had a green envelope, I went to check it out. When I realized who it was from, I froze...(JulieHRR--the effect she has on some people, LOL!) Then my heart started beating so fast, the palms of my hands got damp, I jumped out of my chair and started to scream, "Cliff, Cliff, Cliff!" (he's my wonderful hubby). I ran into the living room, both hands on my heart to keep it from jumping out, making me trip and fall, LOL! Cliff immediately asked, "What's wrong? Are you hurt? Tell me!" (I think I scared him). I just stood there as the shock set in, and I hadn't even opened the PM yet!! I sat on the couch for a good 10 minutes before I could even speak. I looked at my husband and said, "Will you please come with me to open the PM from JulieHRR." He scratched his head, (figuratively, not literally) looked at me, and said, "Why do you need me with you, to open a PM from JulieHRR? And, who is JulieHRR? What is a pm???" Of course, I had to explain it all to him. Finally, after about 30 minutes of explaining, I opened the PM, and, once again, I freaked out. After I calmed down some, and spoke with hubby about it, I sent a very happy, excited "YES!" back to Julie.

My name is Candy Williams- a.k.a. cwilliams here on SCS. I will be 38 years old in July. I have been with my (second) husband Cliff for 11 years. I have two children from my first marriage, my daughter Amber, 18, and my son Taylor, 11. We all live in Lake Mary, Florida (born in Buffalo, New York) where my husband is a welder of 17 years and I have been a nail technician for almost 19 years. My son Taylor loves to skate board, play video games, ride his bike, and, sometimes, stamp with mom. My daughter Amber loves to talk on the phone, shop, listen to music, and just be a little pain in the butt, LOL! My hubby loves to fish, ride his motorcycle, and watch TV. He also loves to build things especially for my stamp room. I love to stamp, shop with my daughter, ride bikes with my son, watch movies with my hubby, go to the beach, work in my yard/garden, and about a million other things.

I've always loved to make cards, and just about anything to do with crafts, ever since I was about 8 or 9 years old. My mom always encouraged me to make things--she always loved the cards I made for her as a little girl; she probably still has most of them. After graduating high school, I attended nail school and became self-employed. One day a client came in with some stamped cards (using SU! stamps); it was love at first sight! The next day I was having lunch at a local place and I realized there was a scrapbook and rubber stamp store right next door. I went in and that was all it took: rubber stamps from wall to wall, paper and more paper, etc. I've been hooked on stamping ever since, which was about 4 years ago. The owner of the store told me that one of her customers was an SU! Demonstrator, gave me her phone number, and, about 6 months later, I became a hobby SU! Demonstrator myself (I'm my best customer)!

One day while online searching for a craft product someone told me about, I stumbled across Splitcoaststampers.com. Here was this online site filled with beautiful cards and altered items. I lurked for months, until one day I was tired of lurking; I wanted to make a comment on a card, so I signed up in June of 2005. I then heard about this Fan Club for members and signed up for that, too. I looked forward to the Fan Club every month--there are a bunch of very talented ladies in the Fan Club Gallery, both past and present. And, now I get to be one of them! I'm truly honored to be here with these very talented ladies. I will do my best to inspire you and make things you will enjoy. Thanks to this site, and, to all of you, for giving me the passion and inspiration to create!
