Origami Heart Folder with Message Pocket

Lydia will show you how to create a cute pocket folder with a built in heart design.

Supplies

Step-by-Step

1. Step 1

   Fold a 5x5 square of paper corner to corner in both directions.

   

2. Step 2

   Fold each corner into the center.

   

3. This will make a smaller square.

   

4. Step 3

   Fold the corners back to the edges

   

5. Step 4

   Fold two of the sides into the center. Crease the folds.

   

6. Open and pull the corners out and refold the sides in.

   

7. Step 5

   Tuck the corners underneath and crease the folds.

   

8. Step 6

   Fold the top corner of the folded flap back to meet the vertical fold line. Repeat on the opposite side.

   

9. This is how it will look.

   

10. Step 7

    Open it up and snip on the fold down to the folded flap.

    

11. Glue this tab back to the opposite side to form the top of the heart.

    

12. Step 8

    Decorate your pocket folder.
