Mini Library Tin

Community Manager Lydia will show you how to make an adorable miniature library inside a novelty mint tin.

Supplies

  • Mint tin

  • Patterned paper

  • Various adhesives

  • Miniature objects

  • Acrylic paint

Step-by-Step

  1. Step 1

Adhere paper to the inside of the tin if desired.

  2. Step 2

Cover a piece of cardboard with the same paper for a shelf if desired.

  3. Step 3

Adhere books and objects inside using a strong adhesive.

  4. Step 4

Decorate the lid of the tin with ephemera or a small card.

  5. Step 5

Finish the tin - I added a mirror over one of the shelves.

Yes! I will be doing this! I think the "treasure hunt" for the miniature items will be so enjoyable in itself.
