Flower Soft Snow Globe Card

by Beate Johns

Create a snow globe card with Flower Soft products.

  1. Step 1

Print an aperture background scene from the CD.

Cut down to the size you need and cut out oval.

Cut just a bit outside the lines so no white will be visible later.

  2. Step 2

    Print out snow globe images.

  3. Trim all images.

  4. Step 3

Stack your images on top of each other with dimensionals.

  5. Step 4

Apply Flower Soft glue where you want your snow to stick permanently.

Don't apply any glue to the biggest oval. The display globe will cover it.

  6. Step 5

Sprinkle your Flower Soft Polar White over your glue.

Press snow gently into the glue.

  7. Tap off loose snow.

  8. Step 6

Add more Flower Soft Polar White over the center of your image.

  9. Step 7

Apply Flower Soft glue to the rim of the Display Globe.

  10. Place over your layered oval and press down.

  11. Step 8

Apply more glue to the outer rim of globe.

  12. Align the precut background over it and press down.

  13. Step 9

Adhere the completed snow globe panel to card front and embellish as desired.

Love this idea.. I think a tent fold/ or other stand for the bottom of the card would be a nice addition.

That's too cute!
Funny though b/c lately I've been saving pieces of packaging that look exactly like that...can't remember what all I've bought, but even on the super sticky adhesive tape I buy, the package has a large round plastic cover just like these...so girls, start saving them! grin

I made this card and my plastic is static-y. You can't see the inside cause all the flower soft is stuck to the plastic. Anyone know how to get rid of the static-ness. thanks. (Had to take card apart 'til I figure this out)

I just attended a SU retreat and learned about the Embossing Buddy. You run it over your paper before you stamp then apply the embossing powder. It prevents any stray powder on you paper. Maybe if you run that inside the plastic first it would prevent the static. I also wonder if a laundry static sheet would do the same thing.
