Variations
-
Use Markers instead
Color your design with markers instead of an ink pad for multicolored look.
If you are using watercolor markers, mist the folder lightly with water before embossing.
If you are using alcohol markers, mist the folder with alcohol or blending solution before embossing.

Where did u get the card base from.....you stated everything else but the card base/frame.
I only list supplies that are needed for the tutorial on the supply list. You can find the supplies for the entire card in the gallery.
The card base was cut and embossed with the largest of Spellbinders Fleur De Lis Square Nestabilities dies.
many thanks

The ink should wash right off. I just rinsed my folder under running water.

You should be able to use any ink for this technique.
Suesemae,
You can use any die cut machine. Just use the sandwich suggested by the manufacturer of the machine for embossing folders.
