Faux Cyanotypes

Learn to create faux cyanotypes with a single color of ink.

Supplies

  • Ink

  • Brushes

  • Stamps

Step-by-Step

  1. Step 1

    Cut a square out of masking paper and center on a card.

  2. Step 2

    Using a brush, ink the square with blue ink.

  3. Step 3

    Without removing the mask, stamp an image in the same color ink.

  4. Step 4

    Remove the masking paper and finish the card.

This technique would also look great in sepia .I'll be trying it with different colours as well. What a great way of doing a quick card.
