Abstraction with Paint Sticks

Community Manager Lydia will show you how to create easy abstract scenes or backgrounds.

Supplies

Step-by-Step

1. Step 1

   Tape down a piece of matte film or vellum.

   

2. Step 2

   Add a layer of paint stick, blending colors while they are wet.

   

3. Step 3

   Dry the piece in between layers.

   

4. Step 4

   Continue building up layers. Use a craft knife along the edge of the tape before removing it.

   

5. Step 5

   Finish the project
