Enhancing Elements
By Michelle GiraudThe new Enhancing Elements die sets from Spellbinders take your basic die cut shape to a whole new dimension. They work in conjunction with your favorite Nestabilities sets and don't actually cut the shape, but enhance and decorate your existing die cuts by debossing (or embossing) and cutting small decorative elements.
I used the rectangle set and especially liked how it worked with my basic rectangle and scalloped rectangle dies. The set comes with a nice selection of sizes and designs for decorating everything from a full card front to a small panel. Since these dies don't actually cut the edges, you can use several together for a full coverage effect, use them on a card front for a CAS one layer card, or deboss inside of a larger shape. Lots of fun possibilities out there to try!
Overall these new sets are a great addition to the Nestabilities line. They add a touch of elegance that take a basic shape to a whole new level. -
Making a BIG Impression
By Bev RouschYou can sign me up for anything Spellbinders. If you are a paper crafter at all, I know you're with me. Spellbinders dies are an essential ingredient in our card recipes. It's pretty easy to see their craftsmanship and beautiful designs, and come up with fun ways to use them.
So how can they really improve on that? By golly, those smarties have found a way! Their Enhancing Elements are a must have, I tell you.
I was thinking "yeah yeah, they make impressions and coordinate with the dies, but this isn't a game changer". I was wrong. So wrong. I pet them and apologize.
I came up with four card designs for them and then started rolling my cardstock through my Big Shot. Then my jaw was hanging open and my eyes were popping out.
The impressions are deep. And pretty. And they're going to make your card.
I found it really easy to coordinate other dies with them. I made a gold frame for one of my cards using the Enhancing Elements and 2 other oval dies on brushed gold cardstock. I ended up running around my room holding the frame to my chest and squeeing like a school girl. I did that, ladies. I made that gold frame on that card. It kind of boggles the mind. These Enhancing Elements make you feel incredible about your work. HUGE crafty confidence booster. Strut it out.
I want one in every shape and size, please, and you will too. Pinky swear. -
Imperial Gold Enhancing Elements
By Teresa KlineSpellbinders has it all for your cutting and embossing needs; the latest Imperial Gold Enhancing Elements is another keeper to add to the list! These shapes will emboss your favorite Nestie shape for added depth and more options. They emboss, deboss, and stencil to work with any of your favorite Nestabilties. These are definitely something you will want to add to your Spellbinders collection. I sponged some distressed ink around the embossing to give it a bolder look. These are lots of fun and make creating with Spellbinders even more enjoyable.
The Enhancing Elements add lots of interest to your creating, it is all up to you and your imagination. The new Spellbinders Imperial Gold Enhancing Elements are surely worth having. -
Amazing Addition!
By Beate JohnsIf you follow my work, you know that I am a big fan of Spellbinders products. They had me hook, line and sinker when the first Nestabilities came out and I got to unload all my punches. Next came the Decorative and Grand Nestabilities, and I was in love. So when I heard that we got to play with their new Enhancing Elements, I knew I was in for a treat.
I received the Golds Round One die set and LOVE how much definition they bring to your die cut. Not only does it work with regular shaped and decorative die cuts of the same form, but it also looks great when you use it on the other shapes. I love that the gold dies come with embossed as well as debossed areas. My die cuts look truly AMAZING!
I know I will get the other Enhancing Elements. They add so much to my already big Spellbinders die collection.
