Our Artist in Residence answers your questions
Q: Linda asks: "I have a stamp of trees - I would like to shadow them and I'm not sure how to make the reverse image."
A: We have a couple of different site tutorials for making reflections and reverse images! Mainly what you need is a nonporous surface that will hold the inked image temporarily to essentially create a new stamp for you. There are blank clear and rubber "mirror" stamps that are sold for this purpose; you can also use something slick like a sheet of acetate or an acrylic block. Click HERE for a tutorial using acetate. If you have a stamp positioner, try THIS TUTORIAL.
Feedback From Past Tutorials
Joan is ready to try the Shaving Cream Sparkle tutorial: "So happy to have found this video about this alternative shaving cream technique. I like it way better. As well as the embossing of the chandelier. Very gorgeous card!"
