Our Artist in Residence answers your questions
Q: Sue asked: "I want to be able to color digi stamps with my Tombow markers but the black ink from the printer bleeds. Is there some sort of sealant that can be used on the image to prevent bleeding? I don't want to buy a new printer or invest in Copic markers since I have a huge number of Tombow markers. My printer is only 3 months old and is a HP estation printer. Any advise?"
A: You could try embossing the image right after it comes out of the printer with clear embossing powder. Or try letting the image sit overnight and see if that helps.

Check this forum thread for more hints on how to handle this problem.
Feedback From Past Tutorials
Rebecca has a suggestion for the Swing card: "If you use a partial die cutting technique, you can get a shaped panel in the center that resembles many fancy new (and expensive!!) dies on the market. I recommend using a narrower center uncut section than used in the tutorial which allows more of your die cut panel to show. Looks very classy. I used Spellbinders labels 8. Just be careful as even with the most perfect plate placement, the die will cut slightly further (1/8") than where you put your plates so take this into account."
