Our Artist in Residence answers your questions
Q: Ramona wants to know: "How do you label your inkpads so you can find them easily?"
A: My inks are labeled so I can identify the color easily from the side. I cut adhesive label sheets into 1/4" strips, then cut those strips into about 1" lengths. I put a blank label on the side of the inkpad, usually on the base - that way I can see the labels on the pads that stack. I use an ink blending brush to color the label with the corresponding ink, then wipe away any excess. I find it easier to color the label on the ink pad case, rather than trying to color it first. Much less mess!

    Feedback From Past Tutorials
Melanie has a tip for the Tunnel Card: "This is a bulky card so I mailed it a flat square box for jewelry that I found at Joann's in the beading department. I slipped the box into a bubble envelope. It cost more than a basic stamp to mail but this was for a special and very elderly aunt so I didn't mind."
