Our Artist in Residence answers your questions
Q: Bette asked: "What is the difference between embossing enamel and embossing powder and can I use embossing enamel on a project calling for clear embossing powder?"
A: Embossing Powder has finer grains then Embossing Enamel, which is also called UTEE (Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel). The UTEE is used not for embossing line art or regular images, but for different techniques, like cracked glass, making pins, jewelery and more. Type in UTEE into our search engine in the technique forum to find some of them.
Feedback From Past Tutorials
Laura has a suggestion for the Matchbox Dresser tutorial: "Wow, with 24 boxes this would make a beautiful advent calendar!! A small piece of chocolate or non food gift in each. Or a sweet jewelry box for a little girl who just got her ears pierced. My mind is spinning with the possibilities."
