Our Artist in Residence answers your questions
Q: Ramona wants to know: "How do you store your dies?"
A: I have a standing file cabinet that I use for storage, and one drawer is for dies. My dies are stored by category, on magnet sheets backed with chipboard. Each sheet goes into a "quick load" sheet protector (open on two sides) and then into a hanging folder, labeled with the category. I use Evernote to keep track of my inventory.
    Feedback From Past Tutorials
Pansy has a tip for Assembly Line Stamping: "Carrying the 'cut all' a step further--I take full packages of white and cream/ivory cardstock to a local custom printer business. I ask for the paper to be cut to 5 1/4" X 4" and they can do it in about 10-15 minutes for usually under $6-----and then I have hundreds of insert and mats ready to go in a standard size. They are also easy to trim if I need smaller for something and great for grabbing to die cut if I need white or ivory for a card. I keep them sorted in wire mesh file boxes on the worktop next to my Big Shot and trimmer."
