Our Artist in Residence answers your questions
Q: Theresa asks: "On some of my die cuts I get "hairy" edges - slivers of paper on the edge so that the edges are not cleanly cut. Please help."
A: I notice these on some dies more than others - I think it's just the result of the way our dies cut by pressure... the raised cutting edge takes up that hair's width of space, and the paper hairs are where the blade was pressed against the cutting plate. I run my fingernail around the edge of the die cut to get the excess paper off. Others use a stiff brush, a glue eraser, sticky mat or lint roller, or a sanding block.

Susie loves the Button Tree Pendant tutorial: "Super cute!! Thanks so much for the fun tutorial. I knew my bobs and buttons would find a purpose one day...and the jewelry making tools."
