Our Artist in Residence answers your questions
Q: Nanarama4 asked: "I have read about a group getting together to make "shoebox" projects. Do the participants each bring a shoebox with the items needed to make a few cards or does the hostess supply it all. I am not sure how it works but it sounds like it might be fun"
A: Shoebox swaps are a lot of fun. You create one sample for a card with step by step instructions. Precut all supplies and bag them for as many swap participants as you are expecting.

At the event set up a station. Everyone makes your card, following the instructions you created and using your supplies. You will create the projects from all the other participants.
Feedback From Past Tutorials
Jackie has a comment for the Scalloped Tree tutorial: "I used the "star" scalloped die instead of the scalloped circle one and scored peaks and valleys. It gave it a really cute effect. I did Christmas ones, but did not take pics. I put pipe cleaner red & white striped 'candy canes' on and glued 3/8" beads here and there also."
