Our Artist in Residence answers your questions
Q: maslex asks: "What marker do you use for coloring an animal's eyes?"
A: A fine black liner pen is great for giving an eye a deep black covering. Another option are black glaze pens - they are a deep black and have that little shine that will really liven up an image. For the little light-reflection dot, I've been using acrylic paint or gesso instead of a gel pen, and dotting it with a pencil point, pin, or tiny stylus.
    Feedback From Past Tutorials
Pansy has some tips for Assembly Line Stamping: "I take full packages of white or cream/ivory cardstock to a local custom printer business. I ask for the paper to be cut to 5 1/4" x 4" and they can do it in about 10-15 minutes... then I have hundreds of inserts/mats ready to go in a standard size. They are also easy to trim if I need smaller for something and great for grabbing to die cut if I need white or ivory for a card. I keep them sorted in wire mesh file boxes on the worktop next to my Big Shot and trimmer."
