Our Artist in Residence answers your questions
Q: Gisele asked: "Can you tell me what an embossing folder is please? I have seen some beautiful Christmas cards using this and I love to make cards. "
A: An embossing folder is two pieces of plastic hinged together that have raised motifs on them. You put a piece of cardstock in between and run it through a die cut machine. Out comes the cardstock dry embossed with the motif of your embossing folder.
Check this tutorial. It shows how to emboss with an embossing folder.
    Feedback From Past Tutorials
Donna has a suggestion for the Reflection Technique: "I experimented and found that paper protectors work also. I didn't have acetate, so I monkeyed around with other clear papers. Worked just fine!"
