Our Artist in Residence answers your questions
Q: Cecile asked: "What is paper clay? I am not familiar with it and a book calls for it to stamp images in to create a scrapbook page. It looks so cool!"
A: Paperclay is a non-toxic modeling material that can be sculpted, molded or shaped, and air dries (no baking!) to a hard finish that can be carved, or sanded. Check this site for more information.
It is similar to silk clay. We have a tutorial for using that here.
    Feedback From Past Tutorials
bns808 has a suggestion for the Tying Bow tutorial: " Small tip, for your right handed people:
Start off with left over right first instead of right over left. Same principal as tying your shoelaces. So the bows come out flatter and straighter and you don't have to fuss so much to make them stay perfectly straight."
