Our Artist in Residence answers your questions
Q: Nancy asked: "How do you attached lacy punched paper strips to a card? I tried using the method you use for lace, but when bending the strips to the back of the card so i can tape them down, they tend to tear. Help!"
A: I cut the lace strip the size of the layer I want to tape it on. Then I either use liquid glue, 1/8" wide Scor-Tape™ or my 1.5 Xyron™ sticker maker to adhere the paper strip. My adhesive choice depends on how many openings the paper lace has. I use liquid glue for strips with a lot of holes/openings, 1/8" wide Scor-Tape if I have thin strips on the lace without an opening or run my entire strip through my Xyron if the strip only has a few openings
    Feedback From Past Tutorials
Mary Ann has a suggestion for the Herringbone technique: "I do not have the Xyron, but decided to use a glue stick on the strips. It seems like a great way to use your scraps."
