Our Artist in Residence answers your questions
Q: Cathy asked: "I have looked all through the list of resources on SCS and can't find a technique for monochromatic cards.
A: Monochromatic just means that you created a card using only a single color and variations of that color - for example, your card might be made in all blues plus neutral. We had a site challenge for monochromatic cards, so you can see a gallery of examples by looking at this challenge.
    Feedback From Past Tutorials
Alexandra has a suggestion for the Napkin Fold Card tutorial: "I have used several types of cardstock - the thickest was 105#...the trick I believe is to make sure you use a bone folder to crease each fold. I also found it helpful to iron each crease with my craft iron on a Teflon craft mat from Ranger. I am using the Martha Stewart score board and have been able to score the diagonal lines (4-1/4" and 2-1/9") using the envelope triangular tool. Hope this helps - I have made about 15 of these cards - I can't seem to stop making them!"
