Virtual Stamping Weekend
VSN stands for Virtual Stamp Night, which is a Splitcoaststampers tradition that’s expanded into a Virtual Stamping Weekend. VSN consists of a series of stamping challenges for participants to complete. ANYONE can play, there is no registration or fee and you can do as many or as few challenges as you’d like. Whether you are a new stamper or a seasoned vet, VSN will get you to try new things and get your creativity flowing. Most importantly, VSN is all about fun! We'd love for you to jump into fall with us! Get the details:
When is it?
Virtual stamping challenges will be posted over two days – Friday and Saturday. The Friday night Tailgate Party is September 7 and beings at 6pm ET; Saturday’s Main Event is September 8 and begins at 12 noon ET.
Challenges are posted every hour until 11pm ET. You have 45 minutes to complete each challenge and an extra 15 minutes to clean up, snack, upload, or do whatever you need to. You do not have to have your challenge submission uploaded within that time frame, but it must be uploaded by the deadline.
All new with this VSN, we will have a special “bonus challenge” running concurrently with the kids challenges at 6:00 Friday the 7th and at 2:00 Saturday the 8th, but you have to be there to find out what they are!
The upload deadline is Sunday, September 9, 3pm ET. Make sure when you upload your submission that you include the VSN Challenge Code (or Keyword) in the keyword field.
How do I play?
Easy – just join us in the VSN forum and look for the Master Challenge Thread (it will be a sticky thread at the top of the forum). Each challenge will be posted in that thread with a set of rules to be followed when making a card or project. Follow the rules for the posted challenge and complete your submission in 45 minutes, then upload to the gallery.
Complete details can be found in this thread.
Visit the VSN forum for a shopping list, schedule of events, and listing of challenges.
