Meet our challenge team!

image Angie, aka OhMyPaper!
Hi! I am Angie. I have been married a long time to a sweet guy and I am a mom of two grown kids. We almost always have a cat or two sharing our space.

I started stamping in the summer of 2011 and discovered SCS in the fall. Pretty much everything I know about stamping, I learned right here at SCS. From the beginning, I joined a small group here and I learned everything from the wonderful ladies in the group, even what a blog was! I have had the good fortune to be on several Design Teams over the years and also host challenges at SCS. One of the sweetest moments at SCS was the day I was asked to be a Dirty Girl! There is so much to love about this art community but my favorite is the friendships I have made. I have even met a few of you in person! I was absolutely thrilled when Kia asked me to be part of the Watercolor Wednesday Challenge. I can't wait to paint with you!

Brenda, aka Benzi.
Hello, I am Brenda O'Rear, a southern girl living in Alabama. I live with my hubby and we are empty nesters, unfortunately. I miss my kids and grands whom I haven't seen for a while due to Covid19. My days are filled with paper crafting, gardening, and fun times with my hubby. I started scrapbooking in 2007 and really enjoyed that hobby. Then, my sister met a girl in her Hobby Lobby who told her about SCS. My sis told me and I was hooked on cardmaking when I visited the site. I even left my beloved needlepointing because there is just not enough time for both. I joined the Dirty Dozen in 2014. I am so excited to be on the first Splitcoaststampers Watercolor Wednesday challenges team and am sure I will also learn more and more as there is so much to know about this fun thing called watercoloring.

Linda, aka Holstein

My name is Linda Paider, and live in a rural area called Denmark, Wisconsin. We are about 20 miles from Green Bay and Lake Michigan. Joined SCS in 2007, and have enjoyed all the wonderful stampers. Before card making I did acrylic painting on fabric and wood. Then I found paper and watercoloring....addition.

Thrilled when Kia asked me to be part of the new team. We will all have fun, and learn from each other. See you on Watercolor Wednesday. Hugs

Kia, aka kiagc

Hi there! I am Kia Gibson-Clapper. I live in Southern Ontario, Canada. I am retired and not married, which leaves me a lot of time for my blogging and paper crafts and watercolour.
I have been making cards since 2005, joining the Splitcoaststampers Community in 2010, after I stalked it for several years In 2015 I was asked to join the Dirty Dozen. A fun surprise.
Since 2016 I have been taking Watercolour Classes given by a local Artist, and I continue as there is so much to learn with this medium. I am thrilled to be a part of the first Watercolour Challenges given at Splitcoaststampers and look forward to many more.
