Hi! This card was made for today's Sketch Challenge.
Yesterday, I was on a RE-ARRANGING campaign in Markie's room and went a bit "Nutty" according to Markie! (This happens when Mark goes overseas....) And, I ACCIDENTLY closed Markie's closet door on Speedy the Cat and the SSS's, (Semi-Siamese Siblings)! At dinner time, I called and those three didn't show up! I started to look and after a frantic 45 minutes, I found them asleep on the floor of Markie's closet...BAD Markie's MOM!!!
However, even after their ordeal, Speedy the Cat was more then happy to supply me with today's stamps! LOL! He even had a fanged piece of this brayered Glossy Paper for me to use...
I thought about the orange colors and decided that today's poppy was going to have to be a "fantasy poppy!"
To make the background, I brayered glossy paper with Apricot Appeal, then Only Orange and the bottom is Pumpkin Pie. I wanted a more BLENDED feel, so I used my finger and swirled the WET ink to blur the brayer lines.
The backgrounds were stamped in Noir Black Palette Hybrid ink! Got to love it for GLOSSY!!!!
The poppy was first painted with Twinkling H2O's. Then I added highlights with markers and then blended those with an aqua pen.

Faith another beautiful card. I would love to see a Poppy in this color. Can you imagine a bunch in the garden. I also really like the super rich colors of all of the sponging on this.
